Please note this is my own experience and the intention is simply to share MY experience for you searching & for feedback for the lovely women running this business. I started going to Tsoy after my first miscarriage in February 2022. The mother (it is ran by a mother and daughter, which is so great) doing the intake form said, "if you would have come to me you would not have miscarried." She verbatim instructed me, I need to come regularly to get pregnant. Which I got pregnant prior to going to acupuncture with her. I sadly believed I had done something wrong to have a miscarriage. I came to her consistently to heal from the miscarriage. Fast forward I find out I am pregnant August 2022. I go every week to get acupuncture, I may have skipped a week but I came a lot. And in between working, getting weekly blood work due to the prior miscarriage, getting acupuncture, I was always nervous I wasn't doing something else "right". I find out I had experienced or was about to my second miscarriage in 2022. I had an acupuncture appointment the following day, and decided to call as this felt like a 911 and maybe if I did more (acupuncture) my baby and I would make it. I come out after the acupuncture and I let the mother and daughter know I'm really emotional with news I just heard. The mother then says we'll if you don't believe in it or if your husband doesn't then I can't fight him or you on this. I let her know what she told me in February still haunted me, telling me if I would have come to her then I wouldn't have miscarried. I communicated to her that doesn't land well with me as medical advice that is sound and can be proven in my specific or others cases. She then retracted her statement of what she said in February, about how she could in a nutshell saved my pregnancy. I let her know I came this 2nd pregnancy consistently and potentially (i did end up miscarrying) would miscarry so her "instructions and care" cannot guarantee anything for fact and she is not God, although she spoke that way. Her daughter then says, it sounds like you need a good mental health therapist. Which I can only assume as I don't know her intention, but it came off condescending and that my level of emotions and tears was out of place. When I had just come from my ObGYN stating they could no longer hear a heartbeat! I asked for a package still wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, and the mother says oh you have issues with money, and then states something about $20 off. I was in shock she would say that as I pay out of pocket $400 ish both months for her services. The daughter then says it's because I need herbs, she sells me herbs. In November 2022 I had surgery as my uterus shaped was affecting the baby's growth. I encourage you to listen to the way they speak and are they in service to your needs or pushing more appointments or more herbs on you? I have an acupuncturist now, she's so kind and gentle. After my surgery she kept saying be kind to your body, your body is healing right now. Through this process I learned i have the choice to say, this is NOT working for me. Pushing appointments and stating someone can save you or your baby is not sound medical advice for me.

The chiropractor, Dr. Ohern, is really kind and professional. He's helped me with both my hip and shoulder issues, and I've noticed real improvement. He's extremely thorough, which makes the whole experience even better. The only small downside is that it can be a little hard to reach someone by phone if you need to adjust your appointment--they prefer you to email instead. But other than that, everything is a breeze. Highly recommend!

In one room (or two -- I think it's just for Swedish massages) they have mattresses w/ a hole to hold your head so can lay face down without crinking (is that a word?) your neck. But if you're getting a Thai massage your put on just a regular mattress. It's always bugged me because it defeats the purpose: I go in for a massage to work on my neck, but I tweak my neck by virtue of their set-up. Lots of much less expensive Thai massage places either have beds with a head holder or a pillow with a similar design. I really think Raven should do the same. There....bone to pick expressed! That isn't to downplay all the positive: a great place, but I do hope attn is paid to my one nit to pick.

Despite my telling them to be gentle they did not and it ended up being a painful experience. On top of everything, they had really bad breath and two months later I still can't forget that horrible smell! The owner alleging in their response that they honored my request for therapist is clearly a lie because I definitely remember not requesting anyone specifically and thinking during the time of my massage that was a huge mistake. And no I cannot forget that horrible smell which is etched in my brain forever.

The providers are wonderful but the billing department is so predatory. Again, they claim to work…read morewith your insurance and then basically can't work with your insurance. My insurance (anthem blue cross/blue shield, a very normal and common PPO) fully covers an annual preventative exam, but I've never had a fully covered exam through Tia. This year they billed me almost $200, when in the past, my exam has only been $50 through tia. My insurance hasn't changed and this is already $50 more than I would pay anywhere else in addition to the $20 MONTHLY membership fee they charge me . Again, the providers are not at fault in this situation, but the business model is inherently designed to make it seem like an affordable alternative for people and then rob them blind. This year I didn't even get a bill to review, they just charged my card because they insist on having your card on file to "make it easier" when it's really so they can take advantage of the customer. Do not come here. My first couple years I recommended so many people to the service because the actual medical professionals are so good but everything else about the practice makes their hard work completely overshadowed by the greed of the business owners. They also now make you sign a form before your annual preventative basically saying if you mention certain keywords, they're gonna charge you extra because it falls outside of an "annual preventive," but the keywords are essentially you mentioning concerns about weight or depression. Attaching a picture of the form so you can see how much they take advantage. Want to reiterate that if you are extremely wealthy it's probably worth it for you to go here, but if you're any kind of normal human with any kind of budget you will be robbed blind and taken advantage of by their predatory business model and you'd do better anywhere else.
