I was very excited about trying this place. I went about a hour before closing and ordered a crab leg plate and shrimp and lobster plate. I was very specific in asking for no seasoning on the shrimp and lobster plate and it was even repeated back. Upon receiving the food there was in fact seasoning on the food. The young lady who took the order asked if I still wanted it even though it was incorrect and I said no can it be fixed as asked. The gentleman putting up chairs as well as the person cooking seemed agitated that I had the unmitigated gall to ask for them to correct a mistake they had made. The order was promptly brought back out and all appeared to be in order. Over 90 dollars was spent at this establishment only to get back to the hotel and find out the food was still incorrect. Of course the restaurant was closed so I couldn't call to discuss this. My boyfriend proceeded to send an email and posted a one star review. ShaVontay (either manager or owner) responded and was annoyed that he posted the review versus emailing her to rectify the situation. However, the email response that followed essentially called me a liar and concluded that nothing would be done as she didn't want to be "bullied" into giving a refund. This was not good. The food was extra salty, I'm not sure if this was a bad batch or what but everything tasted like it was doused with 2 or 3 extra layers of salt. Only thing edible was the shrimp because the shell kept the salt off the meat. Threw everything else away. Restaurant failed to prepare my order. When delivery driver arrived to pick up the order they were told it wasn't made, but if no one picked up a take out order they could have it to deliver, as the restaurant was now closed. It would have been nice for the restaurant to notify me of this, but they did not. So much for customer service. There are far better places to spend you money. Mkay I'm going to be honest. I saw this place a few times and passed it by as an option because I was being judgmental. I regret that. This is the best crab flavor I've had since a family reunion in Jacksonville FL!! And them boys don't play!! Now, the downside... my crab cluster was the smallest I've ever had in my life but I ordered late and I'm going to order again earlier in the day and see if I get something bigger. Honestly though, I'm still going to order them again even if the clusters are small. My daughter and I stood over the box tearing it up! Halfway through we realized we were still standing.
