Their condition has improved, and for this we are eternally grateful. All went as planned and the staff did an amazing job of keeping us updated throughout the process. The only downside is that we were given detailed instructions regarding aftercare, but then they forgot to give us the equipment needed to stick to those instructions. Once we realized, we got in touch with them and had to return to collect those items. Easy fix, but a little inconvenient. The staff all seemed very caring and attentive, genuinely.

Whether you need it or not, they never give high dosages like you'd expect. After one particular growth spurt they wouldn't do anything for me (although, in all fairness, they might have if it had been my height that radically changed like that).

Trying to be heard here is like talking to a brick wall. They just don't care. I mean I get it, the VA isn't the best hospital to work at. But if they're going to take care of veterans they need to remember that veterans come in many forms. Not just old, straight, white people. Every once in a while you'll get a really nice nurse but that's as far as it goes. Honestly if I already didn't have established care here I'd drive the 2 hours it takes to get to the Chicago VA but I can't even say if that place is any better. Anyway, if you have to go here, be prepared to deal with bigots who will just brush you off.
