Lindsay and I talked first about what kind of shots we were going for and together we selected the best spots on the property. She was terrific with our grandchildren and interacted with them warmly, eliciting smiles and natural candid shots. When they became restless, she moved us along to other spots on the property, giving them a chance to run around a little and also creating some variety, in terms of settings and backdrops for the photos. The result was really nice pictures from which to choose, a variety of styles with a combination of both posed and candids. The photos from my shoot were a gift and I had a deadline. OWP came up with a plan to get me a final product two weeks before my dead line! My first meeting was in the studio, all aspects of design were covered and I pre-ordered a bound book. Although my final costs were more then I wanted to spend ($$$$), the quality of the work was worth every penny. The overall communication with OWP was amazing and the customer service was great. Olivia and Chantille wonderful to work with. The shoot was really fun! Olivia and Yakeima (awesome designer!) made me feel relaxed and kept the mood upbeat and exciting. I have nothing but great memories and would not change a thing about that shoot! A few weeks after my shoot I went back the OWP studio to preview the photos for my book. Viewing my photos was difficult; the computer program was sluggish and loaded everything very slowly. The process was a bit awkward; they had just rearranged the studio and didn't quite have the computer situation or seating figured out so that could have been the problem. Although I am very pleased with the way the photos turned out I felt that the review process took longer than it needed to. The photography itself is amazing. I choose Olivia because her work speaks for itself. The artistic, professional look, and quality of Olivia's photography is exactly what I was looking for when I found her online. I am very pleased that the real life work matches her portfolio. What you see is what you get... and what you get is great! Val first contacted me on Instagram and had sent me a message saying what a beautiful couple we…read morewere, asking how planning has been, congratulating me on our engagement. I just loved how special they made us feel throughout the whole process. We set up an initial time to FaceTime and get to know each other. I knew I wanted 2 photographers for our wedding and I was thrilled that Val and Ed are a husband and wife team - you can tell that they are just as in love as the couples they shoot. It's just so easy to get along with with them. KV shoots a limited number of weddings throughout the year and from what I gathered, had recently started doing more and more out of state weddings. I was so excited to show them our venue! I didn't hear from a lot of our vendors throughout the process, but Val and I emailed back and forth every 2 weeks or so - she was always checking in to see how we were doing and was always there to bounce ideas off of and give us inspiration. I felt prepared and confident in them and our planner the most of anyone we worked with! On the day of, Val and Ed were so prepared and professional. They got right to work and took some beautiful detail shots, but I don't remember seeing them after that - it's true that the whole day really flies by, which is why you have to hire and trust professionals to get everything done right. Val and Ed went above and beyond and captured some of the most beautiful images from our ceremony and reception and grand exit! We did a day after shoot and I had never heard of this before - I'm going to give KV Photography the credit for coming up with this - because #lightingmatters - how fun is it to put on your wedding garb again but with messy hair and last night's makeup, for me a coffee in hand... and wake up at 6am after your wedding to do a sunlight photoshoot at another location... it was so laid back and chill and we got some beautiful shots! Val and Ed gave us a sneak peek album on Facebook less than 72 hours after our wedding - and not just some small 5 image sneak peek, we're talking almost 100 images on this "sneak peek" - and my friends and family on FB went CRAZY over it. Not only do I get tons of compliments on our images and how beautiful and classy and professional they are, I also STILL have people telling me how much they loved our photographers at our wedding, my guests loved how they interacted throughout the night and just had a great time. That's the kind of feeling you want around on your wedding day. Surround yourself with professionalism and positivity and all will be OK. Do not skimp on a photographer because... you can't get back shots that have shadows on everyone's face or a really bad angle! I am so thankful for Val and Ed shooting our wedding! Then after the wedding, you have hundreds of images, and now what to do with them? How do you pick your favorites? It's so hard! Here's where Val REALLY shines - she picks out your best images, puts them together for you to tell the story of your wedding day from start to finish and they mail you a 12x12 album of your wedding. Now, I'll admit, I was not prepared for the QUALITY of this album. The book is huge and it is heavy, the pages are thick beautifully backed prints. Also the USB of our images was wooden and engraved with our names and date. It's these kind of touches that really were above and beyond for me in the service that KV Photography provides. Overall, I had a really nice experience! The team was very communicative leading up to the appointment. They confirmed everything beforehand, explained what to expect, answered questions, and made the process easy to understand. There is a deposit required to book your session, so just be aware of that when scheduling. When I arrived, I was the only client in the studio, which I personally appreciated because my dog can be a little rowdy around other animals--but with no other dogs around, he was a complete angel! The photographer was super friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. She offered me water, made sure my dog had water, and made us both feel comfortable. The actual photo session was pretty easy, and thankfully my dog cooperated and gave her some really good shots! Afterward, you schedule a separate appointment to view your photos and learn about the different portrait options and packages. I ultimately decided not to purchase a package because it was outside of my personal budget, but the portraits I saw throughout the studio were beautiful. Their finished work has an almost oil-painting-on-canvas quality that makes it feel more like artwork than a traditional photograph. I would recommend going into the promotional experience understanding that the complimentary session and portrait also introduce you to their additional photography products, which are available for purchase. There was no obligation for me to buy anything, and I was still able to select my complimentary 8x10 portrait. If you're looking for a special keepsake with your pet or a beautiful family portrait and fine-art photography is something you value, I think they're worth checking out. Everyone's budget and what they're willing to spend on photography will be different, so I appreciated being able to experience the studio, see the work for myself, and make that decision afterward.

We visited Rebecca Rose photography for a "free" pet session that I won through a Facebook survey…read more They said they did a lot of pet sessions so I had pretty high expectations for the studio. The photographer was good, but she wasn't very good at getting and keeping the dogs attention. We still managed to get some good portraits, but the "red carpet" ones she took on our phones were really bad. The reason I put free in quotations is that they said that it was a free session, then we'd get a free 11 x 17 and we'd get a refund of our $200 deposit after the reveal session. What actually happened was when we went into the session, they ruthlessly tried to sell us very expensive packages and while I kept saying they were too expensive, the saleswoman basically kept saying "well this is why we need you to read the reveal guide before the session". I had read the reveal guide, but I assumed that I must've missed it because the way she was talking about it you would've thought it had much more comprehensive pricing. Ultimately, she just kept making it seem like it was my fault that I couldn't afford the type of packages she was trying to sell and made it very clear that I would not be getting any of my deposit back even if I only wanted digitals. The photos are nice, so I ended up paying the difference to get the basic resolution digitals from our session (which came out to 350 more than the 200 deposit so I paid the difference). They tried to sell me high res for like 1k, which I wasn't going for. I think the quality of these photos is not worth anywhere near the type of money they're trying to charge. They say it's because of the print quality but all the prints hanging in their studio looked frankly cartoonish. I can't in good conscience recommend this place to anyone when you could get a better experience for a better price with so many great photographers in Orlando.
