Laurie was the agent representing the buyers. She was condescending, unresponsive and lacked the diligence any good agent would have. I had to hound Laurie about scheduling the inspection. At one point, because the inspection had not been scheduled in accordance with the time frame specified in the contract, Laurie told me I had to agree to extend the inspection period. After consulting our attorney, I learned we were not required to do so, but agreed out of the kindness of our hearts. Less than 24 hours before the scheduled closing of the sale, Laurie called me requesting that her clients be allowed to do a walk through 4 hours later. She waited until the day before closing to request a walk through! We couldn't accommodate the requested time but offered other options. It culminated with a nasty email she sent me with egregious accusations and threats. Before you choose an agent, remember that they are an outward representation of you. Based on my experience, Laurie will create grief and hostility with the people she works with. Other real estate professionals I consulted regarding her dealings with them all echoed similar experiences and encouraged me to avoid working with her at all costs. Choose carefully and choose anyone other than Laurie.
