I was referred to Dr. Dramov and Dramov Naturopathic by a friend a couple years ago, as a great way…read moreto supplement my routine medical care. When meeting with Dr. Dramov for the first time, we discussed all my recent medical history, general health and things affecting my quality of life. I've found him to be very personable and extremely knowledgeable. I can have good conversations with him about health and wellness and it's been very beneficial to be able to consider a naturopathic approach to issues. I now meet with Dr. Dramov quarterly and really value his perspective and guidance on all medical issues. He and his office staff get to know people on a first name basis. I recently moved to the Phoenix area, and he has an office there as well. I highly recommend Dr. Dramov and Dramov Naturopathic.

I decided to go here after a good friend recommended Dr Dramov to me. My initial thoughts were…read morethat he was going to be some wacky wannabe doctor who just gave you some herbal supplements and sent you on your way. I was so wrong! My main reason for going was that I knew I had high cholesterol and didn't want to keep taking the medications I had been prescribed by my regular doctor...I was hoping to switch to some kind of supplement instead. When I arrived at the office, I waited no longer than 10 minutes and then Dr Dramov personally greeted me in the waiting room. He then sat down with me in his office and talked with me for a good 45 minutes about everything....health issues, dietary issues, etc. He decided I shold get a complete blood profile (not sure if thats what it is technically called). At my next appt 2 weeks later I went in to go over the report with him. Again, we sat for at least 45 minutes going over the report....something a regular doctor has never done with me. FYI....He prefers to treat people with supplements, but he is also able to prescribe. He decided my cholesterol was so high it was best that I stay on the medication I had been taking (Lipitor) and suggested some supplements to also take (Evening Primrose Oil). According to the report I was also deficient in B & D vitamins, so those were suggested also. His office stocks these supplements, but there is absolutely no pressure to purchase them from there. I did my research and ended up going back to his office to buy them anyway. I thought I might find them cheaper, but they were comparably priced so I just went back (figuring he is knowlegable about the manufacturers he choses to uses). He described to me how the body works and how what you eat can affect this or that, etc. He gave me suggestions about dietary changes and increasing my activity and told me to come back in 4 months to check everything and see if there is improvement. During the 4 months I did make an effort to change some of my diet (cut down on butter, stopped eating eggs). However, I also started eating a lot of cereal (the Quaker Oats cold cereal) and I didn't cut back on breads or pasta (2 of my favorite things). And I truly did not put much effort into exercising more (30 min a day was suggested). I really was feeling better in general. When I went back, my cholesterol improved a little (still not good though), but my triglycerides were sky high. He said that if I wasn't sitting in front of him, he would think that by looking at my blood report that I was an obese smoker & drinker (of which I am none of those....normal weight, work out about 3 times a week) Again, we talked about how the body processes everything you put into it etc. Also made it clear how that if I didn't get this under control asap that it could lead to diabetes, heart disease, etc. This really scared me. He gave me a few more supplements (sea kelp, fish oil) and a more rigid diet to follow for 8 weeks (basically very low carb...no pasta, bread or rice, cut back on all sugar). I go back in a few weeks and am really looking forward to it. I am so glad to have found all this out before it was too late. It might seem like its nothing major, but its huge! I don't think I would have found this out if I was going to a regular doctor....none of this testing was ever suggested to me by him. Dr Rob is knowledgable, friendly and truly cares about your well being. I have a huge amount of respect for him. Since going to him, I have met several other people who swear by him.

Not only will they work with you on general issues, they are so thoughtful, patient and kind that they'll take the time to get to the bottom of specific issues, too. Doctor Pickworth is the best doctor I've ever had the privilege of seeing. She is authentically compassionate, understanding and takes time to help you fully understand, think through solutions, and truly work with you, where you're at. I was able to address an issue under her care almost immediately after having worked (and failed) for years under the care of another doctor. So grateful that I found this clinic. All of the staff are so wonderful and cheery, and like I said, Pickworth is the best. Seriously, haven't ever thought I could be excited about doctor's appointments, but here we are. Thank you to the team at NW Integrative. Y'all ROCK.

She is amazing with chronic health conditions that have left other doctors puzzled. She is kind, emphatic and very knowledgeable. She takes her time to explain everything and works with me.
