The reason for my one-star review is his assistant (and wife) Shannon. Shannon is incompetent. She couldn't manage GPM's on-line interface. She was unable to get my medical records from my prior PCP (not a problem for my new doctor). She didn't notice when GPM's selected testing service didn't run all of my tests and then sought to blame me when I pointed it out to her. She then sent me test results for another patient, which I only noticed were not mine when I saw that I (male) had apparently been tested for menopause. I wonder what steps, if any, she took to notify the correct patient of this HIPPA violation. When I sought a refill on a prescription, she demanded that I email her the prescription name, another HIPPA violation. Yet somehow she figured out what my script was when I decided not to renew with GPM, emailing me the script name, another HIPPA violation. In addition to violating HIPPA, her email style is condescending and rude. From what I could tell, Shannon's only strength was making sure my annual fee was paid. Against all desire we had to go into an urgent care. I had been here once before, and they were quick and kind. This visit was no exception. From the front office check in, to the nurse and NP, everyone was extremely kind and helpful. My mom felt at ease with her care, and they allowed me back to ask a bunch of questions!! I will definitely be coming back for any further issues for myself and my family!

This UC as others continue to act and treat individuals as livestock instead of human beings. Unfortunately, we're stuck with this type of behavior because of the lack of accountability of their employees and organization. I went in for nerve pain and myoclonus jerks as well as just the concern that my nerve pain and shingles were getting worse. I had PA John Luna who didn't even listen to my concerns. I told him I had shingles and I had already been to my regular doctor for it, I told him this was the first time I was being seen for it (we did mychart and phone calls with my PCP to diagnose it) but my pcp had been unable to get me in. John Luna told me he didn't have "the license" to prescribe Gabapentin and that it was a controlled substance ('very recently' he said which I thought was interesting, considering I was put on a trial prescription less than 6 weeks ago for the shingles pain and had my roommate pick it up). I did't go in looking for gaba to begin with, I was hoping for a second round of anti-virals, or tests to make sure that my nerves weren't dying. John Luna also put "pain and numbness" on my referral which the neurology department hardly wanted to even accept because they "don't treat pain" instead of mentioning anything about the shingles that are actively diagnosed and still on my body. I have an appointment in October, so I hope that my nerves aren't fried by then! I have never been treated so badly and I'll be filing a formal complaint as well.
