Every person I encountered here really seems to like their job. They have smiles on their faces and seem happy to be there. Well as happy as you can be at work - we all know those people who make it seem like they are doing you a favor by taking your insurance card or answering questions? Not here. There is a really good staff and friendly. Now for the Dr. So I am waiting in the room to show him this spot on my leg and lets face it - no one likes needles or getting cut open but I really really really hate needles. So the Dr walks in and I told him I was there for him to look at something but I really wanted him to just give me a cream and send me home and I promise to put it on as many times a day as he says lol he laughs and said "Sure we can do it over the phone if you like" totally down to earth response that had to make you laugh. But secretly I was like "whew" I don't have to get cut open today lol. Anyway he called in a script to my pharmacy and told me if it doesn't go away in 2 weeks I have to come back for removal. Ok Doc that's fair! There is nothing better than having a Dr. who you can feel comfortable with and does not want to biopsy every thing. So happy I found this Dermatologist! Oh he does Botox and stuff like that but did I say I hate needles :)

It affected the clothing I chose and how confident I felt in my own body. I finally decided to trust Dr. Lickstein with a brachioplasty with liposuction, and I honestly could scream to the heavens with how happy I am that I made this decision! For the first time, I can choose clothing based on what I actually like rather than worrying about whether it will fit or hide my arms. I finally feel like my arms match the rest of my body, and that feeling is priceless. The photos I'm sharing are only ONE WEEK post-op, and I am already absolutely thrilled with my results. Even this early in the healing process, my incisions look fantastic, and I cannot wait to see how everything continues to heal and improve over the coming months. Dr. Lickstein and his entire team have been incredible throughout this experience. Kayley, one of his amazing MAs, Chrissy, his OR Manager, Candice, on the Patient Concierge team, and everyone else I've interacted with have been kind, supportive, and genuinely wonderful. The level of care after surgery has been just as impressive. The team has been extremely responsive to every post-op question or concern, and I have never felt like I was left wondering what to do. Dr. Lickstein himself has personally called and messaged me on more than one occasion to check on me and make sure I was doing okay. That level of accessibility and genuine care from your surgeon means so much during recovery and speaks volumes about the kind of physician he is. Choosing surgery is a big decision, and I am incredibly grateful that I trusted Dr. Lickstein and his team.
