Dr. Dane is terrific at what she does and has cared for my daughters their entire childhood. Dr. Dane knew how to make it fun for the kids but also was very careful with making sure all their dental needs were met. My kids had cavities and needed braces. I like this place, the staff was friendly and helpful, nice waiting area for kids with games and a TV. Inside the back was super spacious and the lay out was open and inviting. The doctor was so nice and a people person which is a plus. They have toy vending machine that requires token that the doctor gave ( awesome ). Oh they make ballon animals as well how cool is that. My 2 year old seems to take a liking into this place and I think we found a new dentist . Overall this place is fully staff and super kid friendly. read more

My kids have been going here for the last 3-4 years. Like other reviewers, I noticed unusual wait times and dentist going back to other patients right in the middle of our visit. But due to lack of better judgement about what to expect from a good dental prentice, I kept going back every 6 months for my kids scheduled cleanings. Our most recent visit was today and it will be our last. We went in for a regular cleaning. My issue is mostly with the hygienist not performimg the cleaning throughly or properly. She started the cleaning with polishing. I kept noticing that she would not offer my daughter rinse or suction until I would ask. It made me very uncomfortable having to keep asking her to rinse and suction my 6 year old who would also try to speak with pool of water in her mouth for suction and rinse when her mouth was still gritty with polish. Something she should have been cognizant of while performing the polishing. She finished the top teeth and appeared to be done. Next I was asked if I'd like varnish on my daughters teeth. I was a little hesitant because I knew my daughter was really hungry and would need to eat right away. Instesd of giving us the proper advice regarding the 30 min wait time prior to eating, drinking, she told us it is "ok to eat and drink immediately after the varnish application". That advice is incomplete. Soft and hot foods cannot be consumed for many hours after the varnish to let it set properly. I finally asked her to floss my daughters teeth when I realized she was done but had never even picked up the pick to remove plaque. Aside from the half job of polishing, she had not even flossed. The dentist came to visit us after the hygienist "finished" polishing but had only polished the top teeth. She was there when I asked the hygienist to finish polishing, to floss and questioned why no pick was used for plaque removal. No real answers were provided other than they did it already, that my daughters teeth looks good already and that they are running behind schedule. They offered to polish the bottom teeth and floss. That meant having to reapply varnish. I was upset that we would have to redo the varnish process due to their lack of completing the cleaning the first time around. The reapplication job was done sloppy. Varnish got on the tip of her tounge, but the hygienist again did nothing until I asked to rinse and suction her mouth properly. During this time she tells us it is safe to swallow the flouride varnish. Seriously!! We left with varnish in her mouth, figuring we would do more rinsing at home. So very disappointed and angry at the way this visit was handeled. We are not going back to this dentist or this practice ever. read more

The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very kid friendly. They provide sunglasses and headsets for the kids to watch cartoons on the ceiling monitors while being worked upon. What I trully appreciated was being able to stay near my 4 and 8 yr old daughters all the time and seeing Dr. Hoang explain to them what was going to happen in an age-appropriate manner. I could tell my kids felt at ease with her. As my 8 yr old said when I asked her how did it go: "It felt good" (and she had 4 fillings done). Will definitely go back. read more

he doctor is good with the kids. However, they are consistently 30 - 60 minutes late getting to see you. I'm going on 50 minutes after my appointment was scheduled. The waiting room is small. (Some are having to stand right now). There is a kids area though. Which is good because there isn't enough seating for them. read more

She is the best! Honest and efficient. Originally we went to her for a second opinion. She was in agreement with the previous findings, however, she did not try to add on services, talk down to us, or add charges for items that were passed off as samples. All of these things we had experienced with other dentists before my kid was even 6!! You can trust Dr. Dane Hoang! Plus she's fun!!! read more

Dr. Dane is amazing, she talked to my 3 year old and explained everything to him. She was very attentive and amazingly quick. Her staff is amazing, very polite and professional. The office is fun, they have video games and a theater room while you wait, and after the treatment the kiddos get balloon animals and tokens for the prize machines. I could not ask for a better first dental visit for my tot. read more

Of the 12 years that my children have been going to this office, we have NEVER gotten seen at our appointment time. We usually have to wait 30+ minutes after our appointment time to be called back. Then, we still have to wait in the back awhile. It is ridiculous. It appears that they call patients back in order of arrival vs order of appointment. Some visits, we wait over an hour after scheduled appt time for my children to be called back. Not acceptable. The dentist, Dane Hoang is very good; however, my time available is very little and cannot afford to be at an appointment longer than I should be. Being seen at my appointment time is the MOST important thing to me. On 12/28/16, My 2 children had appointments for treatment at 1:30pm. We arrived at 1:17pm, first patients waiting after lunch. Patients who arrived 10 minutes AFTER us, got seen first. Finally, the dentist called us back. She worked on my daughter and finished her first. An hour after our appointment time, we go on to my son. She completes the sealant, then takes a break to go do exams on 2 other patients!! Really?! That's why we have treatment appointments!! I asked the dental assistant what was left, and she tells me his two fillings. So, I let her know how terrible the customer service is here. They really need to focus on the patient at hand, and finish one job before going onto the next. A dentist should never leave a patient on laughing gas, in the middle of treatment, to go do exams on other patients. They need to get their scheduling down to where they don't overbook. This is just ridiculous. Without a doubt, I will be looking for a new dentist for my children after this. Update 4/12/17 The owner, Dane Hoang, called me in regards to my review on YELP. She stated that she has discussed this issue with her staff and will hopefully get it under control. She also offered to personally see my children the days that she is there. As I mentioned in my original review, Dr. Dane Hoang is very good, we really like her, but the other dentists are slow and have no apparent sense of time management. We will give her one last chance. I will update my review the next time we go. read more
