It provides all kids with more self confidence while burning some energy. There are many other types of dance classes available too. I don't have a son, but this studio is very popular with boys. If your son has an interested in hip hop, this is your place! Fun, creative, and hip. The year end recital cannot be missed. There are many talented dancers as well as the performance by Team. All dances and music are age appropriate and I never once questioned their music selection. The Overture Center provides a wonderful setting for the performance. I love this studio!

This is a review of the Madison Ballet performances, not the classes…read more So far, I have been to two excellent productions of Dracula: A Rock Ballet and one repertory performance. Dracula was an original production (including music) that had great live music, production values, and music. For the first production, the entire house was full and shortly thereafter they announced they would do it again next year; and we saw it a year later and brought friends! We were impressed that a small company could put on such a big performance. The Repertory is an opportunity to see ballet in a much more intimate setting. At the Barthel, we were close enough to hear the dancers breathe and their muscles flex. Pretty cool. Either the Bartell or Overture are a good option for seeing the Madison Ballet, I'm just hoping they do more productions like Dracula!

Next, they read a story which is projected on the wall, so everyone can see. After the story, they get to put on adorable costumes and act out the story. There are usually fun props too. The last week of class is family week, and the kids do a short performance. Parents can watch the class through large windows or sit in the chairs in the waiting area. They have Wi-Fi available. My girls look forward to ballet every week and have a blast. The teachers are energetic and kind and know each student by name. They make learning skills fun. Highly recommend for little ballerinas.

The owner, Meredith takes extraordinary care in hiring and training quality teachers. The classes are specifically meant for children 3-9 years old. Class size is not too big which is perfect for personal attention of children by the teacher. That means the classes are perfectly suited to the right age and ability. The younger children get to be Belle, Snow White, Clara and variety of other characters. Movement, story, imagination and a beautiful costume, is just what a child needs.
