From the very beginning, the scheduling process was a complete nightmare. They were constantly disorganized, moving times around, canceling at the last minute, and making it nearly impossible to have any kind of consistency. When you're paying for a service that's supposed to support your kids, the least you should expect is reliability, but that was absolutely not the case here. On top of that, the cost is ridiculously high. It is extremely expensive for what you actually get--which, in our case, was basically nothing. My kids were supposed to be learning and growing, but instead, they came away frustrated and upset. I felt like I was throwing money away for empty promises and zero results. It's beyond frustrating to spend so much and see no positive outcome. The worst part, though, was how the teachers treated the kids. My daughter came home in tears because her teacher told her that she should move down a level because she "did bad." Imagine saying that to a child who is there to learn and gain confidence! That kind of comment crushed her self-esteem and made her feel like a failure instead of encouraging her to try again and improve. No child should ever be treated that way, especially in a place that's supposed to be nurturing and educational. Overall, this place is disorganized, overpriced, and unkind to children. The scheduling is chaotic, the costs are outrageous, and the way they handle students is unacceptable. My daughter's negative experience is something I will never forget, and I cannot believe how unprofessional and unhelpful this entire program was. If you are a parent thinking about signing up here, please save yourself the time, the stress, the money, and most importantly, spare your kids the heartache. From the moment you walk in, you can tell something is just...off. The lobby smells like a weird combination of old hairspray, damp carpet, and sadness. The front desk staff are either totally checked out or strangely aggressive--as if you're bothering them by daring to ask basic questions like "What time does class start?" or "How much is tuition?" Instead of clear answers, you get sighs, shrugs, or sarcastic responses that make you wonder if they've ever even been trained to deal with humans. The actual studio space is somehow worse. The floors are sticky in some areas and dangerously slippery in others, and you'll probably find random bits of tape, dust, and even chunks of who-knows-what scattered around. The mirrors are streaked and cloudy, which makes it nearly impossible to see your form. And don't even get me started on the so-called "sound system"--it crackles, cuts out mid-song, and blasts static so loudly that you leave with ringing in your ears. The temperature is never right, either. One day it's like a sauna, the next it's an icebox. It feels like they're trying to test how much discomfort students can tolerate while attempting to move their bodies in sync with music they can barely hear. Now, the instructors. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional and unqualified some of them seem. A few are visibly disinterested, staring at their phones or chatting with each other while students struggle through combinations. Others bark out corrections in the most condescending way possible, making people feel small rather than inspired. It's one thing to be demanding in dance--that's expected--it's another to be cruel or dismissive. And then there's the favoritism. If you're one of the "chosen" students, you'll get attention, praise, and encouragement. If not? Good luck. You'll be ignored no matter how hard you're trying. It creates such a toxic environment that you start dreading class instead of looking forward to it. The choreography itself feels outdated, uninspired, and sometimes flat-out lazy. While other studios are pushing boundaries, this place is stuck in the past, recycling the same tired routines year after year. The recital was an absolute disaster: costumes falling apart, music cutting in and out, students standing awkwardly on stage because they clearly weren't given enough rehearsal time. Parents were openly groaning in the audience. It was embarrassing for everyone involved. And then, the fees. Oh, the fees. Everything costs extra, from costumes to "mandatory" workshops to recital tickets that are outrageously overpriced for the level of chaos you end up witnessing. They nickel-and-dime you to death while delivering the absolute bare minimum in quality. And good luck trying to cancel or get a refund--they'll hit you with fine print and rules that seem specifically designed to trap you. All in all, this studio manages to be a perfect storm of everything you don't want in a dance experience: unclean facilities, apathetic or mean-spirited staff, uninspired instruction, favoritism, financial exploitation, and a general atmosphere that crushes creativity instead of nurturing it. If you want your child (or yourself) to fall out of love with dance, this is the place to go. If you value your time, money, sanity, or self-respect, stay as far away as possible. Honestly, I'd rather attempt to teach myself choreography in my kitchen while slipping on spilled orange juice than ever set foot in this miserable excuse for a dance studio again.

I…read morewanted to find a studio that had a focus on age-appropriate experiences with good, solid training in case my child wanted to get more serious as she grows, and would be in a spot to foster that. The staff is very talented as they work to grow the dancers abilities, technique, and confidence. They find a balance of fostering a love of dance, instilling structure, and rigor. There has been little to no turnover in staff since we have been there. I think that says a lot. The studio does two full-length ballets every year -- Nutcracker and a spring rotating ballet. These are exceptional productions -- the costuming, sets, choreography, etc -- and it's so wonderful to see kids grow through different levels and parts year after year. It's also amazing that the students get these types of performance opportunities. For the more serious students, VSB has strong company and actual pre-professional programs (many studios just use that as a marketing term, so pay attention to what that means) setting students up to continue dancing either in college or professionally in top ballet companies and programs. VSB brings students to local, regional and national ballet competitions for soloists and group performances. Many students earn scholarships for summer intensives and more intense full-time ballet schools. My child has many dance friends at the studio, and it is a positive experience for her connecting with other dancers across different ages, too. She absolutely loves it. Lastly, the studio space is impressive and well kept. This is incredibly important for safety and the longevity of dancers bodies and feet!

He teaches some theory that was appreciated and taught us moves for us to fit to our song so that by the end we had a "routine" that was basically choreographed, but also the knowledge to wing it/get back on beat if we mess up :)

The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly, and casual. The season had started but Lisa, the instructor, and the other students were very accommodating in helping us catch up to where the rest of the class was. Lisa is an excellent instructor too - lots of experience, great at explaining things, and very patient. All things we really needed haha. We were worried that we wouldn't be able to catch up, but it turned out to be okay! We had a lot of fun, both at the barre and even learning some choreography from a ballet we both recently saw. There were all levels of students, but each level seemed to be catered to just fine even though we were all mixed in together. Some exercises were adjusted for the different levels and we could do what was comfortable for us. I've taken other adult ballet classes that have been great too, but if you're looking for something doesn't require commitment, this is ideal. Most of all, you really can't beat the price. Recitals are an option (though we have decided not to perform haha), and there are other adult classes too. We're both really excited for our next class and also to check out some of those others soon!

I love Vibe Fit Studio! I have tried quite a few of the…read moreclasses but my favorite is PIYO-- a mix of pilates and yoga. I have brought in 6 visitors to PIYO with me and all of them liked it. These 6 people all ranged in athletic levels from couch potato to olympic style weight lifting. I love how PIYO has strength building and stretching. Its follow-the-leader style and set to music, so you don't have to worry about counting. I and everyone I've tried it with say its challenging but it's fun and they feel good after class. I love the inexpensive drop in classes! It makes it really easy to invite a friend to try it out. It also helps if you're like me and your schedule changes frequently. I first came to the studio because my friends and I wanted to check out the hip-hop class just for something fun to do for a night. While I was there, I saw they had a PIYO class. I was curious and dropped in on that one the next week. Now I am hooked. I bought a package of classes and can use them on any of the classes, so I can try out new ones or go to my favorite (PIYO). I love the whole attitude of the Studio. Christy is especially positive and fun. She is always saying things like "exercise is a celebration of what your body can do, not punishment for something you ate". The "vibe" is about getting stronger, feeling good in your own body, and doing whats right for you. If you fall behind in class or have to take a breather, she never calls you on it. She provides variations of the moves to meet everyone's fitness levels. I tried Cindy's Boot Camp Class-- another challenging class but I liked it. I would go more often if my schedule allowed it. I also tried the hip-hop class, which is also follow-the-leader style, so it's like a dance party. Very fun and I appreciated the clean music. I would be comfortable inviting family members to that class. I really can't say enough good things and if you're searching yelp for somewhere to exercise, you should check this place out.
