We have been taking these classes for the past 5 years and have progressed from "what do we do now" on the dance floor to "no dance is too tough." The classes are unique by being walk in with payment by the class (which is $7 per person at the present). Everyone is welcome in this group lesson where partners are not required. Instruction is step by step with practice by changing partners until there is basic mastery, then on to the next step. The following week all steps are reviewed and more are added. Great people, great dance floor, and great instructor. Highly recommend this for people who want to dance.

It's a nice little place, very quiet and easy to access. However, depending on the time of day ie.3-5pm 7-9am Culver boulevard can be a rather busy street at those times. Uci and places towards Newport Beach are definitely creating more traffic at those peak times. The AARP class was awesome. Super easy, very informative. It costs $25 for non AARP members and $20 if you are an AARP member. They are held here every 3 months so the next one should be around May or so. You can always contact the center here for more information. There's also some nice accommodations here like food and drinks. Also close to the golf course here and the clubhouse has a restaurant to eat at as well. Plenty of parking and plenty of handicapped parking as well. The city of Irvine also has programs that provide seniors with rides to and from most of their senior centers including this one.

There is a kitchen that we can rent for big events. The place is reasonably priced. The staff is very amiable & helpful. The parking lot is decent-sized. The only thing is that in Irvine, ya gotta go through lots of red-tape & jump alot of hoops for everything you do and everything you change that is in any relation to the city of Irvine. If that wasn't such a hassle, I'd have given this place 5 stars.

She has a smile on her face and is in a cheerful mood that is wonderful to behold. I am so glad we have the facility for her to attend and be provided with new, and stimulating activities each day. The staff is very caring and friendly, not only to my wife, but also to me. There is comfort in knowing that the loved ones we care so much about are spending quality time with staff that sincerely cares about them - and us, the caregivers. The facility sponsors several free seminars throughout the year that are very informative with subjects focused on the caregivers and their needs. It also hosts a monthly Alzheimer's Association caregivers discussion group meeting for those wishing to share their experiences, and gain form those of others. I highly recommend The Mount of Olives Adult Day Program to anyone who is looking for a program for his or her loved one who could benefit from socialization, special attention, caring, and understanding they would get there. Also, if you have a loved one who depends on you, you should consider your own wellbeing, and make every effort to provide for yourself some free time from the responsibilities that are upon you, by considering the Mount of Olives Adult Day Program.
