But wrong; the tech repaired the motor unit of the garage door opener, did some lubrication of both doors, and adjusted and tested everything before leaving. At $300, it wasn't cheap, but a service call for anything runs $150 now. It was still half the price of having a new opener installed. There was a dropped ball on the originally scheduled appointment, but overall I am pleased with their performance.

I called Jason Mehalko from Wilmington Garage Door on Monday morning after a search of garage door companies in New Hanover County AND their reviews. He could not have been more responsive. I could not be any happier with our experience from today's repair! I contacted Tyler yesterday…read moreevening for a garage door repair and he came out today, as promised, during the time frame he promised. And he even called to confirm he was on his way! In the service industry world that's pretty much unheard of lol. The frame wood holding up the garage door had pulled off the wall in our garage and we were concerned that the heavy garage door would fall, so it was such a relief to have a professional come out to fix things. The work he completed looks phenomenal, and on top of that he went over the entire garage system to ensure it was all working correctly, tightening the chain, loosening the rails, and giving us advice with improvements we could make at a later date with the motor. We just had the motor replaced 2 years ago and I can promise you that the major company that installed it did not put forth any effort to make sure everything was working together correctly. Honestly our garage door has never sounded as quiet and gone up as smoothly as it does now after our visit with Tyler today. The value we got for our money definitely impressed my husband and I both, and we will keep the business in mind for anyone we know looking for garage door help!
