I saw his excellent reviews online and coupled with convenience of the distance to/from my home, I decided to give him a try- no regrets! I am not new to chiropractic services, but with Dr. Gilbert I was so much more informed due to the research he shared throughout our visits, which was an added bonus I didn't expect to receive. Highlight: I developed pregnancy related-pelvic pain early in my second trimester and it persisted throughout pregnancy. Walking, getting up/down and doing basic movements became extremely painful as the pregnancy progressed and Dr. Gilbert (along with my pelvic floor therapist) helped so much. There would be visits when I came in barely able to walk and after our sessions I could comfortably stand up and walk- it was extraordinary! After pregnancy, I have every intention of continuing services for myself and will even have my husband (and eventually our child) start coming as well. I'd wind up in Granite Run, or Lord knows where else. But, I really think I've found a great place to go, and i won't have to hunt any more! I've always needed a strong, quality massage. I need the therapeutic parts, not the candles and incense. Nothing would frustrate me more when I'd leave an establishment, my back is still STONE, and the masseuse's hands are cramped up, because she couldn't get the job done. So, I constantly have had to change my massage places, in order to find a therapist that could do a good job. But, Back in Balance, I believe, is this place. Megan is professional, yet causal. She knows her stuff! It's not like she just watched a couple of YouTube videos, or got out of massage school last month. She really gets the job done.
