The absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I walked in and was not even greeted. Finally after waiting for ten minutes to take a look at a truck, a lady comes in and tells me she can't give me any pricing without Dan Brenner who was standing there the whole time. I said I would come back after I went to Walmart because Dan was busy talking. I came back and still Dan couldn't take the time to even greet me. So I left my number and email with a lady, who said she would have Dan call me, I still haven't received a call or email and it has been weeks. Heater coil went out on my Ford 550 utility truck. It would be weeks until I got it in shop. Called Dan Brenner Ford and got it in next day. And it wasn't as costly as I was expecting. The service department as far as I am concerned is top notch with service and customer relations! read more

We were driving back home from Shawnee KS to Colorado when our truck's check engine light came on. We pulled in early on Saturday morning, they were booked for weeks but my husband, being a master automotive diesel technician, had an idea what sensor failed and they had the part in stock. I was traveling across the country and experienced an overwhelming amount of kindness. My vehicle displayed a warning sign in the middle of my trip; I was with my family "stranded" not having much luck with the auto store up the road. I googled a ford dealership, and this great company appeared. I called, and the receptionist was accommodating and made me feel at ease while taking down my information. The service manager was helpful and assured me they would help me and make sure all was well for me to complete my journey. I'm not sure the older gentleman (possibly Dan, I was in a panic and couldn't focus) came out to offer any assistance he could while we waited on a mechanic to return from lunch. The mechanic appears and helps service my vehicle. When I left, I didn't feel like someone was trying to take advantage of me in my time of vulnerability; but like a part of their family, ensuring I get the best service, treatment, and reassurance that my vehicle was excellent. I damaged my truck in a deer car collision and was forced to spend the night in Goodland recently. Dan Brenner Ford was courteous, quick and extremely responsive to fixing my vehicle immediately. I did not know anyone in Goodland and I had no way of getting even a bite to eat. They lent me a car, found the parts and were reasonable in their charge. Is there such a thing as zero stars? We need that here. Our 2015 Ford F-150 began overheating as we crossed Kansas from Missouri nearing Colorado. We stopped in Goodland KS for the night hoping for some help or suggestions from the local Ford dealer. Apparently only local, regular customers should waste time visiting there. The person we spoke to couldn't bother himself to even stand up and ask if he could help us! It would be 2 weeks before he could even look at the truck. This time frame is apparently what he gives to all non-locals as we heard later. And he couldn't/wouldn't even venture a guess regarding any resolution of the problem. Thanks a lot for helping two weary travelers - NOT! Customer service is non-existent at this dealership. So we drove on to Burlington Ford Lincoln in Burlington CO. They were GREAT! We gave them a 5 star review on Yelp too. Absolutely DO NOT bother with the Goodland KS dealer! read more

Very dissatisfied with service performed on our Ford F150 at Dan Brenner Ford, Goodland, KS. Wrote a letter to Dan Brenner Ford detailing our concerns and asked for consideration where we felt we were overcharged and inferior parts were used. We asked for the courtesy of a reply. Followed the letter up with numerous phone calls, leaving messages for Mr. Brenner to contact us each time we called. Also, sent several emails that went unanswered. Mr. Brenner didn't have the courtesy to call or respond to us in any manner. We are very disappointed not only in the coordination of and billing of service for parts and labor, but in their customer care and service. Issues can arise anytime service is performed, but there is an expectation that a reputable service provider will be willing to discuss and stand behind his service. That did not happen in this case. Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend that anyone considering service at Dan Brenner Ford in Goodland, KS proceed with extreme caution when doing business there. read more
