I told them when I booked the appointment that I needed them as early as possible because I had another appointment. He guaranteed me that the carpet cleaning person would be here between 8:15 and 8:30. At 8:30. I called the office to find out where he was. I got excuse after excuse. Also, they should have called me instead of me calling them. I moved all my own furniture out and moved everything out of the way to make it fast. Companies should under promise and over deliver. It was the opposite with this company. First impressions are important. I will not be using them again as there are other companies out there wanting the business. Customer service is extremely important and they don't have it.

I was scammed…read more They first offered me a discount on blind cleaning in exchange for a positive review on Yelp for a previous upholstery job (cushions); so I wrote a nice review. I regret it. No discount was given. Instead, they changed the initial blind cleaning quote to a higher quote. Not cheap. They were not able to put back one of the blinds properly. One came back with a big spot that was not there before. When I complained, they took it back and did not return it for weeks. I had to chase the owner who ghosted me and did not return my calls. I finally got it back. It was ruined: it doesn't close properly anymore. And now all the blinds that they cleaned are warped. How these guys have a license from Hunter Douglas to clean expensive blinds is beyond me. I reported them to Hunter Douglas. Unfortunately, they said they can't control quality from independent businesses. Big scam. I got taken by these guys and my blinds are ruined.

What had happened was, my partner and I fell in love with an Airbnb location that did not provide a…read morewasher and dryer. So, threw a Yelp search. I found Oasis Laundry. It's a bit inconspicuous because there is no branding on the outside, it just says Laundromat. But I did see a van that said Oasis Laundry in the parking lot so I assumed this was the place. I was glad when I walked in to feel that it was cooler than the outside. It's a hot day. So they do have AC inside, but as you imagine for a laundromat, it is a lit a bit humid inside as well. One thing you'll notice right away is they have several washers of various sizes. You could get a large washer medium, or small. They all cost various amounts with these smalls being $4.50, the medium $6.50 and the largest approximately $8.50. I used the small washing machines because I did not have a lot to wash but I needed to distribute amongst three loads. Which ran 23 minutes. What's cool is you can pay via app. They have a QR code that you can scan to download the Huebsch app. From there, you can load money onto the app to pay for your clothes. I was a bit confused about where to put the laundry detergent since I had pods versus liquid or powder. The attendant was very helpful. She came over and showed me what to do and also in what order. I really appreciated that! Not bad!

I think there's parking in the back of the building as many customers disappeared going that way :) Anyway, the washing machines and the dryers were really clean and looked newish. The washers range from $3.50 to 9 for the biggest washers. The washing machine cycle runs 29 minutes. If you opt for a heavy wash, there's an additional charge of $0.50. Dryers are $1 for 40 minutes. Our clothes came out looking clean. The dryer dried out clothes for $1 each load. The space itself was spacious, well lit, and clean.

This laundromat changed its name this year. A few months ago, when our dryer finally gave out after…read moretwo decades, I spent four hours washing all of our loads and headed to this coin laundry because we've been here in the past and prefer it over others. They have huge dryers that heat like they're supposed to and there's never been a time that they weren't all in full operation. For this reason, it only takes us one hour (after dividing everything up into three large dryers, including our bedding) to finish all of our loads. I always recommend taking your hangers, as their rolling baskets have metal poles and it just makes it easy to store everything when you get back home; not to mention your clothes remain wrinkle-free! What I like most is that the attendants are nice and they keep the place serviced and clean, including the bathroom. They empty the trash bins and pick up the dryer sheets that some customers are so careless in not picking up when they remove their clothes from the dryers. It is a huge liability to step on one and fall; so, I suppose that might be the major reason why they're on it (Idk). What I like least is the parking situation. There aren't a whole lot of spaces upfront or out back on this highly trafficked corner of Commercial Boulevard and Dixie Hwy. If there was a way to expand the lot, they would have even more customers. I was finally able to purchase a brand new dryer, but as convenient as it is to throw a load at night and go to sleep, for instance, it's also inconvenient to dry one load at a time. I can get more loads dried in less time here and I will still come and do my comforters, rugs, sneakers, etc.
