I hired Allen Dodd to represent me over a family dispute, informing him that I was interested in…read moresaving my family. He represented me well with a charge against me, and I won. He asked if I would write a positive review, and I did, based on that victory alone. However, or but then only after I sent the review, he sends me a bill and I nearly fainted when I saw the expenses. He kept trying to push divorce that I did not want and I am still married and going strong, he would delay proceedings, and do other things that seemed to be indicative of "milking the clock" and running my cases through a money mill. He also let me send text messages, would not reply to them, or reply short so that I would text more and run up charges for that, charging me for his time to read the text! They got some computer system called Clio that tracks everything and puts a time on it, probably even charges for the time it takes to peck the keyboard. Yeah, a little facetious, but my goodness this guy is a milker! He seemed to be working with the lawyers who were against me, and was not transparent with me about what they talked about, like trying to optimize income for both attorneys, like some unspoken code of honor amongst bedfellows. As far as knowing the law, he's good, but he loves money and knows various tactics how to extract it from people. A rich person who has disposable income would fare well with an attorney like Allen, but a working class person would not.
