I had a very positive experience with damage control. They were punctual, professional, efficient, and they work their butts off.

This company is stellar from beginning to end. They called me right away and scheduled the appointment in a timely manner. Adrian was knowledgeable, punctual, and thorough. He explained everything he was doing and put me at ease right away. He went above and beyond and is an asset to the company. I would wholeheartedly recommend Damage Control Emergency Services as well as Adrian. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Patty G. read more

Mr Victor Ocasio is a great professional, very responsive and an amazing team leader. I had a bit of a crisis at my house and an entire foot flooded and he made it his mission to take care of everything and keeping me posted as things were getting patched up again read more

Was prompt on the sales side - we had a plumbing emergency, and they came quickly; however, once we were locked in and insurance was guaranteed to.pay, our sales rep disappeared (completely - he left the company), and I had a series of no-shows for check ins. When they did show, they were *substantially* late. And, when I did call for updates, there was little to no customer service and zero courtesy from the admin staff. (A simple, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" goes a long way.) A leak is never convenient, but Damage Control has made it an even bigger headache. I've now rearranged my schedule and life three times for them to flake. read more

Do not use this company!!! John "Duck" came out as a used car sales man. Told me he was my ringer and everything would be taken care of, even told me if the insurance wouldn't cover it I would pay nothing, he even put it in writing! Insurance did not cover everything but they gave me a discount so they came in just under insurance coverage, so now I had to pay them but I do not have any insurance money to put my house back together, they even put a lien on my house so that they could get the money that the insurance sent me. read more

All of the team...from the front office to the boots on the ground are knowledgeable and helpful. Add to that a quick response time. Great job! read more

Duck, Gary, and Ben were the kindest, most prompt, and most knowledgeable gentlemen I have dealt with during a stressful time of home ownership. They expertly checked all the water damaged drywall and flooring daily until everything was thoroughly dry, they explained everything they were doing in great detail, and were warm and personable throughout the entire interaction. I had them help my parents find a leak in their home, too. If I ever need any kind of restoration work done in the future they will be the first and only company that I call. read more

I had a supply line break on my dishwasher and I didn't know it until there was a big puddle under the cabinets. I called Damage Control and Victor responded the same day. Victor was professional, responsive, and definitely represented me quite well throughout the whole process. He would respond right away if I had any questions with the process, informing me without judgment. I wouldn't want to have this incident again since this is a huge headache but if it does, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Victor and Damage Control. Thanks guys! read more

Victor and Parker from Damage Control are extremely professional, talented, skilled and detailed. We had water damage from an A/C leak that went through our walls and underneath our hardwood floors. Gary from the team came by and handled the water mitigation and ensured that everything was dry. Once that process was over, Victor and Parker did everything possible to fit us into their busy schedule and helped us develop a strategy to get the rebuild process done efficiently and perfectly. Not only did they work magic in seamlessly fixing our hardwood floors, they did an amazing job putting our baseboards back in, painting our wall and fixing a crack in our guest bathroom sink. They worked tirelessly to ensure that we were happy and were so detailed to ensure that everything looked perfect. It's rare to find people who really care about the quality of their work and are committed to exceptional customer service. That's what we got from Victor and Parker and we couldn't be more grateful. If we ever run into any issues, I wouldn't consider anyone else but them to come and help us out. We appreciate EVERYTHING they did and couldn't be happier. read more

These guys did a great job! They were recommended to me by our plumber who came out in an emergency due to a hot water pipe bursting in the master bathroom. Joshua took the lead and he jumped in and got everything started. These guys did a fantastic job making sure that everything was taking care of and dried out in the house, and even recommended an excellent contractor to help with the restoration. Joshua was always available to answer any question I had, even in the evening and the entire crew was always respectful and responsive. I cannot recommend them enough! read more

Pretty terrible experience using this company. They said I needed to leave the drying fans running 24/7 for two weeks to dry out a leak in the shower. Brought in a third party for mold/air testing but this company no call no showed the first time which dragged everything out even more. After weeks of fans running with progress checks every two days, they stated the job was complete which was not the case. Immediately washed our hands of them and got a new company in to finish the job correctly. We've been dealing with this bathroom since 5/2/23 and will finally be done later this week. Horrible experience. read more

I worked directly with Gary Jobst! He was here immediately late at night after a plumbing issue. Super friendly and did not miss a beat on what exactly needed to be done. I am SO GLAD I called for my new house. Ben and Dalton were rock stars making sure I was not disturbed since I work from home. Shout out to Big Lou who was super friendly and super helpful! If anything happens again(hopefully not) I will call this team again. THANK YOU! read more

I was out of town and our landscaper noticed water pouring out of our house. He immediately called us and I got hold of the plumber who arrived within 15 minutes to turn off the water to the house. The plumber called Damage Control who arrived within the hour to remove 6 inches of water from the house. Their team did an amazing job. By the time I arrived 12 hours later the water was gone and they had removed everything that got wet and had the driers and humidifiers going. Daily they have been testing the moisture in my house and their work saved most of the house and our belongings from too much damage. Luis came today to take moisture readings and he was awesome. I can't thank this company enough for their quick response. I hope you never need them, but they work 24/7 and will always be ready to take care of emergencies. read more

We had a leak in kitchen. Thank you so much to this amazing crew!! I can't say enough about each person I met during this journey. I'll start at the beginning with my praise. Jeff, I appreciate your caring nature when I was having a mental breakdown after the leak. You helped me file a claim and I'm forever grateful. To his team- Andy, Jonathan, Ross and crew thank you for being so thorough and for brightening my day every day I saw you. To the mold team - Tommy- and his crew Adrian, Ben etc fantastic team as well! The entire Damage Control company has been super responsive, respectful, supportive and helpful more than you'll ever know in such a trying time. These days you don't get much customer service anymore but Damage Control does that and more... above and beyond. I'm sad about how we met, but glad you were my team in this difficult time. Kudos to each and every one of you read more

Rip off company in my experience. They will take advantage of your ignorance of what the problem is and overcharge for things they didn't do. Something that ended up being easily remedied by myself, was a bill for over $2000. They act like everything will be covered by insurance. And yet the bill to insurance was completely unfair that we had to cancel the claim. There was no underlying damage, which is why we hired them to answer that question. Instead of giving us answers they just started doing stuff, and I naively trusted them. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. read more

I went to First Watch Restaurant in Oviedo to find these guys so that I could talk to them and give them a piece of my mind about calling women "sweetie" ! Never found them Darn it. Guess they were too busy doing excellent work. Professional, informative and honest. Highly recommended. Do your homework. They have excellent reviews, maybe just not at the local restaurant read more

WOW! What professionalism! They are DAMAGE CONTROL 911. Exactly what I got too; a group of highly skilled professionals that responded to my emergency call Immediately. My experience with Gary Jobst was one that put me at ease right away as he went thru the procedures that would unfold and explained every detail. Danniel Kinnard was at my house the next morning and prepared the affected area for more work to follow. This team made sure that I was placed in a temporary living location and has reached out to me to assure that my wife and I were ok. Carla Zarate, at their office has taken my calls and has worked very close with my insurance field adjuster to make sure I was taken care of in a timely manner. Other members from Damage Control have worked arduously to provide the greatest service possible, Thank you all! A very Happy client, Gilberto Rodriguez. read more

Had a slab leak and our plumber, trying to assist with the damage to our home, contacted Damage Control on our behalf. Initially, they were great. They showed up when they were supposed to and kept us well informed. Our damage was extensive and after 2 weeks, we were receiving no communication. We called our contact by the cell number he gave us, and after answering the phone, he immediately just stated "I'm busy." Although that may be true, here are more professional ways to say so and since this was our first call to him, it was not like we were calling to bother him. He called several hours later, but that became the pattern. We had no idea what was happening and when to expect them to come by. They did not call the mold remediation company until reminded by us. We were not kept apprised of bills. When asked, they would send me estimates for work, but when the bill did not match the estimate, they denied it and it appears that they sent the insurance company a different one - with double the price tag, without informing us. They did not clean up the adhesive left on our tile from whatever they used to secure the plastic dividers and I've tried everything, but it appears my tile is ruined. A few months after their work was done, my insurance company called to see if they had been in contact with me as they had been sending multiple invoices asking for money over and above the agreed upon amounts, however, they neglected to include us in the conversation to ensure that the work being billed was actually done. I would NEVER recommend this company to others. read more

A group of local professionals were eating at first watch in Oviedo yesterday when a group of four of your male employees showed up wearing your logo and shirts. (three white men, one black man) They were unbelievably rude to the waitstaff and continuously called the female employees "sweetie". They continued to be obnoxious and took out a knife at the table which made us and the other patrons extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. One of your employees joked about it saying you shouldn't attempt intimidate the waitress with your knife and they all laughed. Then another of your employees commented if they had all taken out all of their concealed guns, the table would be filled with them. It became so uncomfortable my party paid their bill and left but not before taking note of the company name on their blue shirts. I think you may need some training about appropriate behavior and what is expected of your employees when they advertise your company on their shirts in public. Not A single person in my group would ever feel comfortable having any of those men in our homes with the way they behaved toward the women in that restaurant and their aggressive behavior. read more

We hired damage Control after a pipe broke in our kitchen. They sent out a crew to dry our house out. That crew did a good job and was very nice to deal with. Damage Control then sent us a contractor Andrew Napoli and his crew. At first everything seemed to be going fine. They gave us a reasonable quote, and began work. After day 2 things began to fall apart. They never showed up or called on day 3, when I contacted them they said something came up, and would be back the next day. It took 3 days for them to show back up at our house. They did not seem to care that I felt it was rude for them to not even call us to inform us that they would not be able to make it out for a couple days, even though they said they would. Then the work they did began to get very sloppy and half-assed. When I complained they tried to double the price of the quote. Then I fine out that Andrew and his crew were doing the job under the table and not reporting it to Damage Control. I was under the impression that I had hired Damage Control the entire time. I also believe that the Contractor crew stole my Chainsaw from my garage. I have no solid proof, but it was in the garage when they started working and no longer any where in my house when they were gone. They were the only ones in my garage besides me in that time. I called to report Andrew and his crew to a Damage Control Supervisor, and never heard any kind of response to how the situation was handled, so I can only assume Damage control supports this kind their hired contractors trying to take advantage of their customers. read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!! Not only did they bill me double what they quoted ($999 vs $485) they did not show up TWICE when I had a pre-scheduled appointments with them to do the work. To make matters worse when they did show up weeks later, they told me that they did not have the correct materials (even though they had taken samples of my baseboards before making the quote) Now they are refusing to make it right. I have never had customer service this horrific from anyone in my entire life. (and that is not an exaggeration!!) Edited to Add~ To make matters worse, when I reported them to the BBB, they actually LIED about what happened! They said that the only reason I had reported them was because I did not want to pay my bill! I had already paid them over $2000 for the water mitigation that they had done, i reported them because of the terrible customer service that I received as mentioned above, it had nothing to do with not wanting to pay a bill....it had to do with their complete and total lack of any kind of customer service. read more

This is a scammer company set up to rip off consumers and work over insurance companies. They did not do a very good job. Destroyed all baseboards in my room and refused to put them back on. They took my credit card over the phone, I never signed anything. When I called to see when they would finish the job, they rudely replied they won't be doing anything and I should call my insurance company. Strongly reconsider using a different company and avoiding this one. read more
