    Fur baby

Dr. Olson came to our North Dallas home the same day we called him. He was professional, compassionate & explained everything he would do to take our beloved German Shepherd to the rainbow bridge. Dr. Olson helped our fur baby have a peaceful exit from this life. He didn't rush at all and was very understanding how much we struggled. We wanted our fur baby to be comfortable and experience no pain or be scared. It was the best experience for in home service. I highly recommend Dr. Olson. Other places we called had a week wait list and had extra fees. Dr. Olson had NO extra fees.

Having had several pets over the last 20 years, we have relied on Dr. Fiona's care. The time,…read morecompassion, and support she showed towards our dogs during their final moments were exactly what our family needed when we faced the loss of our pets. Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest decisions we make as owners. Our dogs were at home, comfortable, and not fearful or anxious about what was happening. I remember one of our dogs having an emergency and having to take him to the vet. He was anxious, and it was time for me to let him go. Seeing him on the cold, metal table broke my heart. I vowed that when the time came for our other dogs, I would choose Compassionate Care. I cannot express enough how incredible this service was during such a heartbreaking time. Dr. Fiona took the time to let us say our goodbyes without rushing, providing us with the space and support we needed.

Recently we euthanized Ginger. She was fourteen with rapidly declining quality of life issues. The usual when, where, how thoughts and discussions took place over weeks . After referrals to Dr Fiona and the description of her process, the decision was made to use her. Now, each pet lover decides the type of food, level of care etc they are going to give their animal. That ranges from just enough to get by to treating them like humans. No matter your level of care, Dr Fiona will open your eyes to a level of compassion for your pet you've never witnessed. Yes, this service cost significantly more than going down to the vet's office. They come to your home and over the course of one to two hours lovingly usher your pet to the next stop. Beautiful. I highly recommend you consider Dr Fiona and her service.

I decided to use this provider as she was available the soonest. Pro - availability Cons - EVERYTHING ELSE First, I did. Not feel she had any empathy or compassion for my situation. I have another dog in excellent health that was excited to see we had a visitor. She was short with him and acted as if he was an annoyance. Second, it is expensive to do in home pet euthanasia. I know this and expected it. To get his cremains back was an additional $325 or $350 , I honestly don't remember but I didn't care, I wanted him back. I was notified by text that he was ready to come home and I was expected to pick him up. I live in SW Fort Worth and she is in Bedford. This was not told to me prior to receiving this text. For the extra amount charged, I think he should have been delivered back home. I went and picked him up. There sat a little blue bag on her porch. Included was a paw print but no stand to display it. Not once in our texting did she inquire how either myself or other dog were doing. Seems like once she was paid, I was of no concern, And last, at the time of his passing, she launched into a lengthy prayer. Again, not discussed ahead of time. How does she know if the pet owner desires this or its parr of their beliefs? I do not recommend using this provider.

Abandoned my dogs, flaked on appointments, cost me hundreds, and won't return my keys!!…read more I hate to have to leave such a negative review, because things started out quite well, and my dogs loved Jess. I had used her for several walks and visits, two baths, and twice for extended stays while I was out of town. It went downhill when I left town over Thanksgiving and came home to no card (as she had usually left, telling what I owed and how the doggies did). There was also a huge pee puddle on my stairs (my dogs never go potty inside except in extreme emergency), and both dogs had a LOT of pee-pee when I immediately took them out. I thought it was really strange, but brushed it off as perhaps Jess had an emergency that morning and left early, or did not make it back for the mid-day visit by the time I got home. I now have to wonder how long they were left... Next thing that happened was a couple weeks later, she no-showed for the dogs' bathtime, which had been confirmed the day before. When I asked if all was well, I got no reply. From that point on, I never heard from her again! I feared something had happened to her, so I checked her Facebook page for updates. Another client had left a post asking about a no-show and to please contact them. One hour later that post was removed, and the next day Jess was posting pics of other clients again on her Facebook...so at least I knew she was alive! Jess had been confirmed for my Christmas trip, and it cost me several hundred dollars extra and a LOT of energy to find a boarding kennel last minute. To this date, I have contacted Jess 3 times asking for the return of my door key and security gate remote with NO response. This is going to cost me my security deposit when I move in 2 weeks! I don't know why this happened, or why I can't get a response, but I had referred Jess to a friend early on, and they had communicated several times leading up to their first appointment. Jess no-showed her consultation appointment and never responded to her multiple texts or phone calls after that. I guess this is a pattern with Jess, but I'd NEVER trust my dogs to be taken care of by her again, and will probably have to go to small claims to recover the damages on my security deposit. Bummer.
