I have been coming here ever since I moved to the DFW metroplex. This temple is good in that it has…read morea size-able interior, many deities that cater to the different religious beliefs that Indian people have and plenty of parking. However, the exterior does feel a little lackluster compared to some of the other big temples. The temple can get busy in the evenings, weekends and on special religious occasions but never have I felt rushed to complete my visit (which has happened to me in temples elsewhere). There is a main hall, which houses most of the deities, and an area with chairs towards the back for the elderly (who find it difficult to sit down). I can say without a doubt that you can go in there and connect with the Lord without being disturbed. There is a also another small section of the building (a smaller room of sorts) that has a few more deities, so do not forget to visit that area before leaving. You can check out the temple calendar for the different poojas and events. Plus, at the entrance of the temple you can ask for a special prayer to be done (at the temple or outside). I am happy to have found this temple so close to where I live.

On Saturdays at 10am, they offer Meditation Classes (in English) and it usually lasts two hours. On Sundays at 10:30am, they offer a traditional service, however in Korean languate. This is the "real deal", the "sunim = monk" is fluent in english and she is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I came here yesterday (sunday service) and yes, was the only non-korean. It was a special day, because they had 3 other monks from Korea that was visiting. The service consisted of Chanting, Meditation and Discussion. Alot of kneeling and traditional buddhist bows. After service, they offered food (vegetarian). Most of the members were older korean, 70 percent grandmothers. If you have never been to a temple, here is your chance. It is not someones home, nor is it the same type of Temples in korea or movies. It is actually an office building. I felt very welcomed here and will be back

It was truly one of the most divine and peaceful experiences I've had. The darshan was absolutely beautiful, and I would love to visit again and again, if Krishna wills. The temple environment is so serene and welcoming, and the vibration of the kirtan was truly heartwarming. I could feel a beautiful sense of peace and devotion throughout the temple. And, of course, the prasadam was absolutely delicious! I loved it. There is a spacious "Cry Room" to the right of the foyer as you enter the building. With 2 exits leading out to busy Belt Line, traffic and parking can get pretty backed up before and after mass. In the last year, I've attended a wedding, a funeral, and Father's Day mass here, and 2 of those 3 services were short, sweet, and serene.

It ain't "High Church" with robes, incense, candles and chanting in Latin, but it helps me grow closer to God in my particular way. To steal a commercial phrase: "Try it, You'll like it!"
