At…read moreapproximately 1:25 PM, I received a text message from Booksy advising me that my appointment had been rescheduled with a different barber. As a first-time customer, this was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I specifically booked with Joel and arranged my schedule accordingly. Being notified only 35 minutes before the appointment that I would be seeing a different barber is unacceptable. If there are times when a barber is unavailable, those appointment slots should be blocked off in advance rather than being changed at the last minute. This experience has left a poor first impression of your barbershop.

Not the worst haircut I've ever had, then again the worst was a friend with no experience. This…read morewasn't much better than that. Kid (Julius) with braces buzzed my head. I tired to make it easy for him. Asked for a number 4 buzz all around (usually cheap). Ended up having long hairs I had to cut my self at home. Had people at work cut hairs in the back too because they found a bunch of stragglers. It was just weird. Plus when I went to pay the business, he told me to Zelle his mom's number.... Not sure if the business knows he's asking for Zelle to his mom instead of taking the cash I brought for the business. Just a weird experience all around. Also $50 is crazy for a simple buzz cut. Won't see me in there again. Weirdest barbershop I've ever been to. Edit: Owner responded and didn't address the issue about the messed up buzz cut that left me with random long hairs in the front and back. Unsure why he decided to ignore that and double down, when he had the chance to fix the situation and at least ask if I'd like to come back to get it fixed. Interesting business tactic. I don't think I painted an unfair picture, I told the truth. The barber was a nice kid, but the shop has no prices listed, and the cut came out botched. Hard to say that's an unfair description. I think the comments from the owner on the bad reviews paint a perfect picture of the quality of shop this is.

Like everyone else I do have a busy schedule too. Never complained always left a tip. So today I walked into the shop at 9:08 (my appointment was at 9 ) eight minutes past my appointment time and she ask me if I could come back later because she already called her next appointment to come in early because I didn't contact her and tell her I was running a few minutes late. ( funny thing she also has my contact information too but didn't reach out either) I thought I was a good client, but I guess not. So my advice if you're late, don't show up or call in advance and maybe she'll accommodate you. It's too bad because she's a good barber but she lost 4 clients.
