I can't say enough about how great this place is. They really saved our bacon! On a Saturday…read moremorning, on our way from Greenup to our family reunion in Lexington, we started hearing a weird noise and smoking from one of our wheels. Before my brother made it from the driver's seat to check out the wheel, I Googled garages and was talking to the folks at Eddie's. They took us in immediately, fixed the wheel and had us back on the road before most places are even open! This all happened between about 10 and 11am. Boyd Co. Ford screwed up the brake installation and the crew at Eddie's fixed their mistake. A mistake that could've been deadly. (Thanks again, for your consistently crappy work, BCF!!) The owners entertained us with jokes and stories and kept us company the entire time. The cost was way less than we anticipated too. I would HIGHLY recommend Eddie's. They were--literally--lifesavers!!

The crew at Eddie's is one of the dirtiest I have ever had the unfortunate event of encountering, and doing business with, in my 12 years in Morehead. I took my car in to have it looked at. I knew I needed my motor mount replaced, and took the mount in with me. I was charged a ridiculous amount comparitively to other places I had checked with, but I had been told they were good and worth it. When I picked up my car, they told me I needed another part, so I reluctantly bought this part as well and allowed them to continue their work. Upon picking my car up the second time, they then inform me that my car needed another motor mount and all new belts. With this one, I refused. Every time I went in, they told me they knew what was wrong and could fix it, but would only return with more repairs that they had 'just found' which tells me that they didn't thoroughly check the car as I had asked of them to begin with. My suggestion...go next door! Better work at a much better price! Additionally, seeing as it is a college town with a very diverse ethnic group, I feel responsible to inform the people of my community that you are inadvertently supporting one of the most racist people I have encountered in my years in Morehead. Upon conversing with the OWNER in my numerous trips to his facility, he spoke not so kindly of other races - common racial slurs included - and that was my final straw. I was informed of his own grandchild's interracial relationship, as well as his unwillingness to have any further communication with her due to said relationship! People should know who and what they are giving their money to!

One star is way too generous for this establishment. On 10/23/23, service member Brittany informed…read moreus my 2019 Jeep needed a new transfer case. We gave her the go ahead to order it and she stated it would be new and coming from a Chrysler warehouse. Brittany stated she would go ahead and order it and let us know when the Jeep was ready to be picked up. We called for an update on 11/1 just to check in on their progress. Brittany stated the part was coming from New Jersey and hadn't came in yet. We asked what the time frame was, however she stated she would have to call back the next day with our tracking number. We continued being patient and called again on 11/6 since Brittany never called us back as she said she would. On this date we spoke with Joe, the service manager. Joe stated no one had ever ordered the part and that he was going to charge us an additional $500 for the part, despite us already agreeing on the price with Brittany in 10/23. We informed him on the agreement we had with Brittany, however she refused to talk with us on this date (we heard their conversation as Joe sat the phone down and didn't put us on hold.) So Brittany lied to us during our previous conversation when she told us she had ordered the part. Joe became quite rude and told us we could just go to New Jersey and pick up the part ourselves. He made it very clear that Tim Short does NOT value their customers. Joe stated he hadn't been at work and needed to sort this out and that he would call us back. After over an hour of no communication, we called again and Brittany answered. She stated she wasn't aware of the price change and that Joe gave her the go ahead to look for a used part instead. We stated we wanted the new part at the quote she originally provided on 10/23. Brittany stated she was told last week of the price change, however she never mentioned it to us and as previously stated, Brittany had stated on 11/1 that the part had already been ordered and enroute. We then requested to speak to her boss, which was Joe. Once again, Joe was rude and never apologized for what he claimed to be his employees error. When we asked why Brittany was looking for a used part, Joe stated there were no new parts available. We reminded Joe just an hr or so earlier he said there was a new one in New Jersey and now he's saying there isn't one. Joe then stated if we wanted to pay $500 more or go to New Jersey ourselves then yes we could get a new one. This all contradicts the original discussion with Brittany on 10/23. We then asked to speak with his supervisor, Gary Marcum(General Manager/Operating Partner Manager.) Our call was sent straight to voicemail and we have not received a call back. Tim Short Dealership has made it very clear that they are not only deceptive liars, but they do not care about their customers. **UPDATE** On 11/7, we went to the dealership to attempt to speak with Gary in person. While we were able to have a professional conversation with him, there was no resolve to the issue. While we had already caught Joe in several lies; after reviewing the paperwork they had on my Jeep, we caught him in another. He advised he was unaware of the original quote from Brittany, however I located the paperwork that showed the original quote. I also located an interesting sheet that broke down the costs they were going to charge me. The document showed they were going to charge me a $500 core fee. So this means they were going to gain $1000 from the repair ($500 from me and then $500 from the company when they return the core fee once receiving my used part.) In conclusion, I will never do business, nor recommend anyone conduct business with this dealership.
