Dale is amazing, and extremely informative. i am so thankful I found him and his office.

Been visiting this doctor's office since about 2015, and over the last couple years customer service has really declined. I got a call from "Linda" who was absolutely rude, didn't want to listen and didn't offer any means to help me. When trying to explain my situation I was totally dismissed by her. When I went into the office to make a formal complaint and get my paperwork, "the manager" couldn't really be bothered to step away from what she was doing to listen to my concerns, only expressed an apology, and didn't even bother to help me with the original issue. All this because I needed some paperwork filled out and the two doctors offices that are both dignity health couldn't be bothered. Will no longer patron this location. read more

Dr Ekstrum is always looking out for the patient's best interest. He is incredibly intelligent and I respect his decisions. His staff is great, and his advise is researched to provide you the best up to date scientific knowledge! Our family LOVES Dr.Ekstrum! read more

I chose this office as my primary care location after researching local doctors when we moved here last fall. Initially, it was for their convenient hours and because the staff included a female Nurse Practitioner, which I prefer for my Well Woman annual. I've been impressed by the time staff takes on all of my visits. They've all been very friendly and helpful- be it when I've called to schedule or see if I should come, to the nurse who handled our Little One on this morning's visit. (She did better than the nurses at our soon to be former pediatrician's!) Vanessa did my Well Woman as well as two more unscheduled/walk-in office visits I've had. She's a straight to the point, tell it like it is person, which I appreciate. Additionally, she's warm & friendly and made me feel like a longtime client by taking time to be thorough and encouraging me to ask any questions I might have. It's definitely a nice contrast to being rushed or feeling like I'm taking too much time. This morning, I finally met Dr. Ekstrom, when I decided I couldn't last the weekend without taking in our daughter who hadn't been herself in a week. All of the staff was so helpful and supportive when I'd fully understand a "first time mom too worried & shouldn't have taken up time on a busy Saturday" vibe. No one made me feel silly for bringing her in. There were so many cars in the lot when I arrived (it is the only Saturday urgent care, I shouldn't have been so surprised!) but the staff did an amazing job at getting people in and out quickly. I was seriously impressed by the fact that they were down to three people waiting when we left! All that, and I still felt very attended to and observed smiles on most everyone's/staff's face! We will be switching all of our family's care over to this practice- oh, it also needs to be said- I am especially glad to have found a doctor who is more holistic in his approach/isn't so quick to prescribe chemical prescriptions and who supports breastfeeding Mamas! read more

Horrible horrible horrible service from Flor in the front office!!!!@!! I was out of town and needed a refill of medication that I am not supposed to stop taking. I informed Flor that I needed her to ask the doctor to refill my medication, she said she would call back, after five hours I called back and she said oh I'm so sorry we have been so busy, which is fine but she still hadn't checked with the DR. So she then said Ill check and call you back, I said no can I just please hold as I didn't want to wait for another 5 hours. She then started to get an attitude and said fine......she then came back on the line and said the DR. said no she still had a haha attitude and I hung up. I was more upset that I could have spent my day going to urgent care to get the necessary prescription than I was with her attitude. The next day I spent an entire afternoon with another Dr. and was thankfully able to get my medication. Today I get a call from the office and they Hi Mr. Harrison the Dr. Ekstrum has approved your refill and you can go pick it up at the pharmacy of your choice. I said ok thank you and hung up. Flor lied to me, she never even spoke with the Dr. and just wanted to get me off the phone. This is not good, not good at all. Please be wary of this office if Flor is helping you, she obviously thinks it is ok to play with my life as the medication I am prescribed is very important. Dr. Ekstrum you have my number, If you can call me and let me know how you have handled the situation, I will kindly remove this review, until then buyer beware. read more

all around great since leaving Dignity. there is an associated cost, but i believe the Doctor and staff are worth the money. if you don't like your doctor, it maybe the system our insurance companies have forced them to work in...preauths for almost everything, high deductables, denials all make the work harder in an already difficult profession. Dr Ekstrum cares enough to present an option away from the medical frustration system. Thanks Big D read more

By far my favorite Dr. office ever. All of the staff, nurses and doctors are so kind. My son had to get 4 vaccinations last week and they were so sweet and patient with him! For once I don't dread having to go to the Dr.! read more

About 3 months ago, my husband unfortunately suffered a "retinal occlusion with severe macular edema" - basically an eye stroke. He lost most of the vision in his right eye, and at 43 years of age, I was horrified at the prospect of this occurring again. He was referred to Dr. Ekstrum through his ophthalmologist as a primary physician - my previous one being completely distant and dismissive. Dr. Ekstrum has been nothing short of AMAZING. His thoroughness and care has comforted my husband and myself to no end, and I sincerely don't know how I would have handled this situation without his guidance and advice. I will be eternally grateful for his professional, sympathetic and constant attention, and his staff is one of the absolute best groups of people I have had the pleasure to encounter. I could not even begin to think of seeing anothe doctor for the rest of my life. My husband has returned to work and is on his way to returning to a normal life. Without Dr. Ekstrum's care, I sincerely don't know if this would be possible at this point... read more

My daughter fell down while playing and running. I thought nothing of it after the initial tears but she wasn't using her arm while playing around with her friend. I decided to take her just in case. We arrived 5 minutes before they closed. On a Friday. EVERYONE was polite and understanding despite the fact that I am sure they were all ready to go home for the day. They Took X-rays and it turned out she had multiple fractures. I rarely do yelp reviews but this deserved one. She felt like a star with her pink cast as we left less than 40 minutes later :-) Good stuff. Keep it up Dr. Ekstrum and team. read more

I've always had a great experience with your staff, always friendly and very helpful. But the lady that handles the referrals is very rude.

I went to Dr Ekstrum because I was having an asthma attack. Before they would see me they required 200 dollars upfront. then made me wait for 1/2 an hour, then a nurse told me i was required to get a chest xray before they would give me medicine for the asthma attack I was having. read more

Dr Ekstrum is a fabulous Dr. I was in severe pain and I got myself to his office. He figured out the problem after ordering the appropriate tests. He gave me the proper prescriptions. I had been to him for less serious problems and he has always treated me well. His medical staff is also very competent and effective in treating medical problems. My partner came down with pneumonia. She was in bad shape and they stayed on top of it and cured it. They are the best. I would tell anyone to go there . read more

Took my son to this walk in clinic. He had no insurance, waited two hours to be seen for an ear infection. Paid over 165.00. Dr. Goodman wrote a prescription that cost 250.00 at cvs. He called the doctor back to get a cheaper prescription and he's been waiting now for over three hours to get her to call it in. Will NOT ever go to Dr. Ekstrum's clinic again! read more
