I received a beautiful cross from a dear friend last week. The artistry is amazing. To be able to watch her create the design with my beloved doggy's fur was a very special touch. I believe my horsehair pieces are a modern interpretation of the Apache tradition honoring a fallen war horse. The hair of the tail or mane was incorporated into the vessel, so the spirit of the horse was always present. I create one of a kind horse hair pottery and memorial pieces by firing hair from the client into the pieces. I also send a video of the firing for authentication.
