Do yourself a BIG favor and DO NOT use this faux painter. He presents with a great story about his painting skills and loves to drop names that he has worked for. We entered into a contract with him for painting our house after the Bastrop Complex Fire. The painting work(if you want to call it that) was so shoddy and careless, we have paint over spray on brick, windows, on a new roof, on our drive way,they even painted over pine needles in the vents, which should of been removed, he did not remove nails in the trim(for Christmas lights) after agreeing to and then being reminded 3 times. He actually painted over the heat blisters on the trim, after telling us he would scrap, prime, and then paint. He also did not prime over raw wood, he just painted over it, thinking we would not notice. When we demanded a walk around the house, pointed out that our garage doors were not caulked, and paint was pulling apart, he stated it was because the garage doors were cheap, in another area where he should have caulked, I pointed it out and called me "nit picky." I could keep going on and on, but this is what you really need to know. We took him to small claims court, and the judge ruled he had to repay us all we paid him, pay an addition $500 to us and he had to pay all court costs. Do not put your self through this type of misery and stress, hire your neighbors blind dog, you will get a better paint job.
