The staff always seem friendly and polite and there is always a Disney film or Disney music playing on massive screens at the back of the shop. There are two tills in the shop so if it is busy, it never takes long to get served. There is a wide selection of toys in all different sizes, dvds, clothes (mostly socks and pants, and a few tshirts and costumes for children) and kitchenware (mostly mugs). I really like the items they have for sale in the Disney store. Not only can you find presents for children, but also big children too! The prices are expensive, the same as in all the Disney stores.. but there are often sales on. When the sales are on, the items on offer are placed on stands at the front of the shop so they are nice and easy to see.

Primark is good either when something is needed fast (e.g. Last min holidays/luggage) or something…read morewhere you know it won't last long (work tights). Maybe also good for accessorise (sometimes I've seen very similar in other shops bit more expensive) People argue that it is very cheap there, so what... You can buy soon different one... Or have more frocks... But the quality is sometimes really bad. Every visit makes me think how much waste people produce and the conditions those things are made at... What is quite common is to find a lot of stuff on the floor as the amount of people who come there is quite high and staff doesn't manage to tidy it up

But at least they could have a bigger choice of single types of clothing. Like more kinds of pyjamas for kids or more kinds of certain t-shirts. But if you need something not long lasting and you need it right now and for little money, this place is right for ya.

My visit to Slater's Menswear Aberdeen to buy a suit was very disappointing compared to many previous experiences of shopping there. Firstly it is my perception that the manager thinks he's too important to be helpful (been served on previous occasions by this gentleman and he could not have been more helpful). He said, "I will get one of my assistants to help you"... a couple of minutes later an assistant came over and said "try this on for size"... and it was so tight I could not get it off... he did not provide any assistance for me to take the jacket off and I had to "shake" until it slipped down off my shoulders. The next jacket he asked me to try on and he said "that fits perfectly" and I said, "are you sure, I can't move my arms?" I could not have been more polite and decided to leave the suit as I could not cope with the lack of service. I was ready to spend a substantial amount of money but decided to take my custom elsewhere. I did purchase trousers that were £60 and the cashier had a face like thunder and "threw" the trousers in a bag like an old rag. I will not be going back there.
