Daisy and Jim did the flowers for my August 2014 wedding at Cornerstone wedding. It was such a pleasure working with them, and their work was SO incredibly beautiful, I can't recommend them highly enough! I knew right away when I met with Daisy that I would love to work with her. We met in her adorable studio. After asking a few questions via email and looking over my Pinterest page, it was immediately clear that she really understood what I was envisioning. I'd met with another florist, but at that meeting it was all about the work she'd done, rather than what I was looking for - at one point refusing to look at a pin I'd posted, when the things she was showing me wasn't what I wanted. With Daisy, we went through each step of the wedding. At each step, she asked what I was thinking, would look at my photos/pins, and would also show me photos she'd seen to offer other ideas or show me specific flowers. Because we met at her workshop, she was able to bring out different vases and vessels for the flowers, branches, and ribbons, so I could see them in person. It made the decision process much easier. A few days after our first meeting, she emailed a very detailed proposal, and then was great about making changes to make sure it aligned with my budget. Along the way, I emailed with a few changes and she never made me feel like it was a hassle. I really valued her opinions and it was very easy to trust her suggestions. I also appreciated that she was willing to tell me a few times, "I think that might clash," or "that might be too much." She was always right. Daisy is so talented. Her work exceeded what I'd envisioned. I didn't have a ton of other decorations or props, so the flowers really had big shoes to fill. Every single thing was spot-on. Daisy and her team did the flowers for our August 2013 destination wedding at Beltane Ranch in Glen Ellen, CA. Daisy was actually the only florist I interviewed, and I liked her chill style and beautiful portfolio so much that I ended up booking her immediately. I did not have one moment that I regretted that decision! It was just icing on the cake that the cost was so reasonable for the quality. I felt that Daisy just understood what we were looking for and did not need much direction, which is always a welcome relief in planning an event. Daisy worked flawlessly with us and our coordinator throughout the planning process, and was incredibly responsive and friendly. The flowers were delivered and set up on the day of the wedding with time to spare. We gave her a color scheme and creative license to pick the flowers and the designs, and were not disappointed. I was absolutely floored at the centerpieces she created; they were soft and a little wild, but still refined. She also made garlands for our chairs (with very little direction from us on what we wanted them to look like) that were so gorgeous I wanted to pack them in my suitcase and take them on our honeymoon! I selected Daisy to do flowers for my July 2013 wedding in Napa. I went to meet with her in her Flower Studio and was even more taken with her work and ideas. Daisy has a fresh and unique way with flowers and decor. For our wedding, she was innovative yet, for me at least, kept a tie to the traditional. For me and my husband, this was ideal. Daisy and her husband Jim even went to our venue in Napa to scope it out prior to the wedding as it was a new spot for them. The day after the wedding Daisy and Jim returned to the venue to pick up some receptacles we had rented from her. When they arrived and learned that there was a birthday even occuring their that afternoon, they offered to leave the remaining arrangements and recaptacles and return again the next day. When I learned of this from our on-site coordinator, I was awed... what an extraordinary thing to do. But that is what makes the team of Daisy and Jim stand out... they are extraordinary. At my first visit with Daisy at her studio, where she took careful notes for her continually updated statement of work, I knew she would create the flowers we envisioned even if we never talked again. But that did not stop me from involving myself in finding containers and votive holders we loved. Daisy patiently and enthusiastically made sure each of my finds fit the intended purpose. Then, she and Jim stored them for months and returned them to the studio after the wedding where every container was carefully cleaned and repacked. I can't speak highly enough of the service that Daisy provided us for our wedding. She went above and beyond by working with our venue, a local farm that we wanted all the flowers to come from. She coordinated with them and was totally comfortable with the fact that I wasn't able to actually choose the flowers until about a week before the event! Daisy did an amazing job for our wedding flowers. Our guests could not believe how gorgeous our flowers were. We live in Chicago, but were planning an intimate wedding in Sonoma. We found Daisy through the recommendation of our wedding planner, Heather Holliday. During a weekend trip to California to meet with wedding vendors, we met with Daisy for about an hour. After our meeting, I felt she really understood our vision and what we were looking for. I'm not super familiar with different types of flowers, but I know what I like when I see it. Daisy had her computer with lots of great ideas and different types of flowers that would be in season at the time of our wedding. She was super helpful. One thing I wanted include in the bouquets and arrangement was succulents. She did a great job of incorporating these with the other flowers and it out beautifully! Also, as a perk, when she and her husband delivered the flowers for our big day, they brought them in a renovated old London cab, which we used in the background for a few our wedding pics.
