Having recently relocated to the Midlands last August, after finally settling in to my new home,…read moregiven the heavy rains we experienced this past fall & winter, and being prone to allergies, I decided as part of addressing issues and concerns in my home, (especially given the previous owners had a dog) I would get the ducts cleaned & sterilized to help reduce risk of mold & mildew allergens floating around inside my home. I called True Care carpet and Air Duct Cleaning after researching a number of local options, and based on my needs, with a reasonable budget in mind, I reached out to these folks Upon contacting them, they were responsive, and able to address my duct cleaning in a very timely manner. Two days after contacting them, I was met bright & early this morning by Carey, one of True Care's technicians, who was friendly & polite, and ready to methodically commence work on the 16 ducts and two air returns, as well as my dryer exhaust vent. Not only did Carey come prepared with all the necessary tools & coverings he may have needed to protect any furniture or electronics which debris may fall onto, but he was even helpful in assisting me to move the bed frame in my master bedroom a bit, so he could easily get on a ladder and open the vent directly above it! While I pretty much let Carey do his thing & tried not to impede his progress, I would occasionally get up to walk around my home and stop by where he was working to check on progress, and I could easily tell how dedicated he was to really going above & beyond to perform the job to the best of his ability, and documenting the work performed (as they provide you with before & after photos of their work after the job, so you have a visual record of the work *very helpful if your thinking of selling your home and want to show some "value added" to any potential buyers. After Carey finished with the indoor ducts & air returns, and the inside dryer vent, he then went outside, and scaled the side of my home with some special vent dryer brushes & proceeded to eliminate any remaining lint blobs that were pushed through the vents out of the vents, to be collected and thrown into the trash. The dryer vent cleaning really provided me with peace of mind after seeing what was dislodged, especially given the fact I tend to do laundry a few times a week, and therefore the lint buildup in the vent system could potentially become an issue (I understand a big cause of house fires) and I certainly wouldn't want that, so that one aspect of the cleaning alone (to me) was well worth the overall reasonable cost to have the ducts cleaned & disinfected, as well as possible harmful lint removed from the vent shaft in my house. Can't say enough about how Professional & personable Carey was while working in my home, he's very dedicated to his work, and worked quietly and efficiently. If you're seeking Air Duct cleaning and looking for dedicated professionals who actually know what they're doing, & don't play the ole' bait & switch, upsell swindle-game, you should consider the friendly folks of True Care Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning. The service was contracted with the understanding that the work would involve only a steam/deep cleaning and no resurfacing or sanding. The agreed-upon price for this service was $450, which I considered reasonable given the scope of the job. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was severely deficient. Upon completion, the floors appeared incomplete, with visible damage in multiple areas. Specifically, the protective coating was stripped away in patches, and there are at least four sections where the wood itself has been excessively abraded or sanded, resulting in exposed flakes, splinters, and uneven surfaces. In contrast, other portions of the floor showed no evidence of having been cleaned at all. I contacted Floor Pro to inspect the damage and requested a resolution. In response, they proposed to repair the issues by buffing and sealing the entire downstairs floor at a discounted rate of $6,200. This offer raises serious concerns about their business practices, as it appears to escalate a simple cleaning job into a far more extensive and costly repair. I cannot help but question whether the initial damage was intentional, designed to coerce customers into additional, higher-priced services. This experience has left me with damaged floors and a significant loss of trust in the company. I am available to provide any additional details, including photos of the damage, upon request.

Bought a Groupon last year to have my house pressure-washed for half-price…read more Called to make an appointment and the man I talked to was very helpful and even let me schedule an appointment that was beyond the Groupon expiration date because of my work schedule. On the day of the appointment, they showed up right on time (even a couple minutes early) and got right to work with no fuss at all. The man doing the washing was very professional and friendly. My house had been looking REALLY bad since it hadn't been pressure-washed in over 6 years. A couple hours later it looked like I had put new siding on it! Excellent job. Prompt, quick, professional, and friendly with a very fair price (especially with the Groupon!) What more could you ask for?
