Yesterday, I went to a Dairy Queen and had a very frustrating experience. I sat in the drive-thru for over 15 minutes just waiting for the car at the window to move. There appeared to be four employees inside, but only one seemed to be working while the others were standing around talking. When we finally got to the speaker to place our order, communication was extremely difficult. The employee taking our order couldn't understand something as simple as "cotton candy Blizzard," and we had to repeat ourselves loudly multiple times just to get it across. To make matters worse, when she reached our order it was incorrect--my boyfriends burger was missing, and his Blizzard was the wrong flavor. After spending over 40 minutes total in the drive-thru, we ended up leaving and going to another Dairy Queen, where the service was much faster and more efficient. Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing and unacceptable read more

Food was cold, and tasted blend, never heard a place charging you 5.99 if you want more chips, been coming to this place a couple of times a year since 1987 and all I can say is that this was my last time. read more

They have messed up my order on several occasions and when I call they have an attitude about it and say it's their policy that the food must be taken back THAT day or they won't do anything about it. They also never give the sweet treat with the kids meal. read more

I ordered a royal New York cheesecake here and when I got it they didn't put it upside down so I threw it out f**k this place

Dissatisfied. I've been there three times in the last month and each time they got my order wrong.

We drove up and there were three staff members in front of the store smoking we came inside and lady taking our order couldn't hear us because the staff in the kitchen were loud, talking, laughing, yelling, using profanity. The butterfinger blizzard was delicious. The strawberry blizzard looked good and my partner enjoyed making a coke float out of it. read more

Waited in line so far out in the street I almost got hit several times. I come here a lot but this is getting ridiculous. Waiting for a hot dog with chili cheese onions and mustard and had an employee walk to me to give me food as I waited several cars behind only to get no mustard or onion. I got out of work at 5 and it was 545 when I got my food. Never going back. read more

Service was terrible...manager was confrontational after waiting 25 minutes for my food. When we got home the box that they gave us to carry our food in had 2 roaches under the lid....never again will I step foot in that filthy place!!!! read more

Excellent service , very friendly staff. There were only 2 people working , running an entire store but they made it work well. Something that bothers me is that one of the ladies has been working here 6 years and after prying a bit I found out they only pay her 9.00$ and hour. That is ridiculous. The owner / operator of this location is severally abusing their workers. This is labor theft. This location could do much much better to properly compensate their employees. read more

My coworkers and I usually go to this Dairy Queen once a week. They seemed short staffed with training the new cashier. Ice cream machine was initially broken when we got there. Food took forever to get. My coworker had to ask for order after 30 min. And they forgot part of her order and she was refunded. Restrooms are clean. Service was sub par today. Too many people were waiting for a long time. When the manager arrived, things started to get better. I got the Steak Finger basket today. Everything tasted fresh and hot. I probably won't get them again because they taste a bit bland for my taste. Chicken strips are great! Crispy Tacos are my favorite. Chilli cheese fries are good. Restaurant was clean. Today was just a bad day for service, but we will still be back. read more

This is the best experience I have ever had at a Dairy Queen. Jeannette, one of the cashiers, was fast, efficient, and super nice. She constantly asked us if we were ok. I don't leave yelp reviews for fast food like ever, but sometimes you just wanna recognize a good employee. This Dairy Queen is ALWAYS busy and I can see why! I am a daily customer and stop by everyday for a hungerbuster junior combo and a blizzard. This is probably one of the best Dairy Queens I've been to-do and I've been to just about every one on San Antonio. My wife and I had banana splits, and they were generous with both the ice cream, and the toppings. Bananas were also fresh, with no brown spots. Most surprising was how clean the restrooms were. Today I decided to eat here since it was a very hot day. When coming into the parking lot I notice that they were very busy even thru the drive-thru. I was not sure if to go inside but I did, right away I was greeted by the cashier even though she was busy did not take but a second and I was being helped. I ordered a Banana split since it had been a while since I had one. I was ask if I wanted pecans and I said yes,not realizing that they charge extra you do not even get peanuts nor a Cherri anymore, but I guess that is the sign of time. I also want to add I forgot to let them know I did not want chocolate so I ask if I could get Carmel on the side with no problem I received it. I would have rated it five star but there was no napkins on my table and someone else ask for them. My banana split was very good and the service was also great. Thanks for the Carmel!!! read more

Recently went inside to pickup my aunt's order. I was pleasantly greeted by a very polite cashier names "Renisha". She knew my elderly aunt & uncle because she takes phone orders from them often. I placed an order for myself so Renisha offered to hold my aunt's food under the warmer so it wouldn't get cold. I was so appreciative of her anticipating my needs instead of just leaving my aunt's order to get cold while mine was being made. She is truly an asset for customer service. read more
