What a freaking joke! I wish there was a negative star option. I sat in line for ten minutes with no one in front of me waiting to place my order. The jack ass for a cashier was to busy stuffing their face and talking to someone else in the kitchen to even acknowledge me!! Looked right at me twice. And to top it off after waiting another 20 minutes (at a fast food place) the fries were cold and the gravy was all water. HOW DO YOU MESS UP INSTANT GRAVY! Hey this is not a FANCY FIVE STARR restaurant it is DAIRY QUEEN!!!!! The first day I ate the Taco Salad and it was great, not at all greasy. The second day I had breakfast burritos and they were great also, The staff is real nice an for a Dairy Queen it is far ABOVE AVERAGE. read more

Haven't eaten here in a while with good reason. It's a old run down DQ with horrible service and the food isn't worth waiting 20-30 min for a single order. I had to wait 15 minutes for a shake last time so the lady behind the counter could serve her boyfriend before everyone who got there before. They also leave the phone off the hook so they don't have to take orders. I grew up here eating this DQ. But it had deminished severely. read more

I was just passing by this town and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat. This place took forever to bring my food . I ordered the burrito and some chili cheese fries with sliced jalapeños . I asked the guy make sure they are sliced . He repeated the order to me . Once my food was brought to me . Which I'm guessing they made from scratch considering how long it took for them to bring it . Burrito had onions which in the picture it didn't ... The jalapeño was whole not sliced like I asked . Overall the food was great but let's work on getting the order right and a more speedy service . After all it is fast food . read more

Absolutely horrible. The food is what you'd expect from any Dairy Queen. The wait is also expected considering that it's Hebbronville. But it is the service that is so astonishing. Dairy Queen is the epitome of Hebbronville's bad small-town attitude. No one in the customer service industry in Hebbronville really smiles, but Dairy Queen takes the cake on this one. My husband and I went through the drive-thru the other night for an ice-cream. We stopped at the menu and waited for the lady to take our order through the speaker but we sat and sat and sat forever and no one bothered to take our order or wave us up to the window. We finally drove forward and when the girl actually took the time to come take our order, my husband asked "Is the speaker broken, or what?" she very rudely said, "I was on the phone. What do you want?" with a stone cold face. I was almost afraid to eat my ice-cream, thinking maybe she had poisoned it.. she was that hateful. I have never seen an employee there crack one smile, And I have lived in Hebbronville my entire life. So unless you want to feel as though you have personally offended the staff by imposing upon them for some service, don't go. read more

Only stopped in there once on the way to Zapata. I can say that people waiting for food seemed to wait a while, maybe because they accept call in orders at this DQ, and that's probably why people call in their food, they know if they don't they will have to wait longer. I only got a banana shake. So she was pretty quick with that, and it was pretty darn good. She did smile when I said thank you and have a nice day to her. But I don't think she smiled too often. "Fast" food is not so fast I guess..?? Ordered 2 burger combos and it took a good 15 minutes. Burger patties tasted frozen and fries were soggy and tasteless. Staff was nice but the place was pretty dirty. Don't recommend . read more

Horrible service thru Drive Thru. No greeting just wating minutes after saying "hello". Once ordered food was told to drive around other 2 cars behind me. They took forever to get their food. When I finally made it to the window, the young girl opened window and said " YES" I told her I wanted my food. IT was NOT READY! Unbelievable... horrible service not even a sorry. Passing thru expecting same quality service as back home, NOT EVEN CLOSE. Would not suggest a stop at this Dairy Queen. Reading other horrible comment's. Owner and mangager's need to step it up.
