There are some really well put together dishes, rather tasty dishes and some that need to be left off the menu. Tasty? the Spaghetti Bolognese!!!! and the Stuffed calamari! (when they have it on special) and MOST of their pizzas! I am NOT a fan of their calamari, but I am a Calamari snob. The staff for the most part are attentive and very good at their job. There are some who do need some fine tuning on their customer service. But over all, this place is worth a visit.

From sentimental golden oldies like battered and grilled fish n chips and the best hangover cure, juicy beef burgers with the lot I've ever tasted; to shaking it up a bit with a selection of salads, meatballs, giant souvlakis and other middle eastern foods with herb and spicy flavours, it's the fish n chip shop with the lot! Especially great if you work close by and need to grab a bite on the run, extremely fast and efficient service not to mention the almost grease free tasty meals. I decided to look around for something I could get delivered and this placed popped up in my search bar with the possibility to take all the hassle out of ordering by doing it online. With fairly average expectations I was stunned when my pizza was delivered in less than 30mins! My pizza including delivery cost only $13.50 for a large half half with both seafood and meatlovers! I was by this point, thinking to myself, well it can't be that good for that price, but once again my expectations were challenged when I opened the box. The pizza was much bigger than a normal large pizza and the ingredients looked surprisingly gourmet. Mussels, calamari and tasty baby prawns adorned the top of the seafood half and a generous display of salami, ham and Spanish onions presented themselves on the other half. I took a few slices of the pizza and was stunned by the taste! I can quite confidently say that it is one of the best seafood pizzas I've ever eaten. The flavour of the dough was superb. And it was nice and soft and not at all chewy like most pizza these days. I quickly demolished all of the seafood section and I am currently eyeing off the meat lovers and wondering whether my parter will notice if a piece or two is missing when he arrives!

When they say that lazy moes has seriously big portions; what they meant to say was that they have small meals with about 4kg of deep fried oil absorbed chips. The menu has changed since I first visited in 2009, with an added pancake menu. I tried the picnic pancake. It's a bit of a hit and miss with Lazy Moes when it comes to performance and quality of food. You can get good and sometimes bad food. There are times when the service is great and the staff are quite friendly, then other times it's just shocking. I think more times than not I get friendly service from staff. I get the feeling that the staff aren't happy and the staff turnover is high. The things I like about Lazy Moes are reasonably priced food, generous servings- it's like woah!(I have trouble finishing it), nice cocktails and a nice outdoor seating area. If your in the mood to just stuff your face in, Lazy Moes is the place to go. At times the staff are very helpful and nice, but due to high staff turnovers, they don't stay long. The times when I was not impressed was when I receive dishes with shriveled up lettuces, chips dripping with lots of oil or dry stale meat. Another time I found a large piece of plastic in my Canneloni which waiter said came from the microwave containers used to heat food and he quickly apologised, then to compensate, let me order any cocktail on menu for free. I was happy with the cocktail. Another time I was unimpressed, was when I waited 30 minutes for my order on baked potato, which seemingly never came, so I decided to leave. Then when I was about to, the boss came out and says "wait". The potatoes came out and i said "thanks", and the boss didn't respond or smile and didn't bother with an apology, just walked of. He didn't smile or show much manners when while paying. The lazy moe owner guy seems not so nice. Also the food quantity is very large but the quality is ok. It's a good place if your not a fussy eater and just like lots of food. I also notice inconsistencies with food orders. It could be my imagination but some people's orders look amazing, while others are terrible. Seen the same dish ordered by various people, around approximately the same time, each one coming out different, where some people are getting noticeably less food than others. I noticed it with my friend, who was very hungry and confused why her portions were significantly less. They are all paying the same amount, but not all getting their money's worth. Personally, i wouldn't consider going back. It's not something worth raving about. Overall very average and neutral. Some of my friends seems more than happy to keep coming back and is a regular. Each to their own.

Take your time to check out the specials before you order; my favourite is the grilled pack, consisting of a piece of grilled fish, salad and chips for a bargain $7.00. There are over ten specials in all and they really do offer great value for money. To top it all off the place is owned and run by a gorgeous married couple who have always greeted me with an infectious smile and perfect service. If the food didn't keep me going back, the friendly service and happy smiles I get when I go there would be enough to make me return. My friends like this place also and some of them are really fussy as you go to some Fish and Chips Place and they deserve the Name Fish and Greasy, but this place definitely does not.
