I have ordered chicken and menudo from this place... let me tell you. EXPENSIVE and a long wait! I had no choice as I had a bit of a cold and needed menudo to feel better. Well for a large portion of this soup $15 is FAR TOO EXPENSIVE. The chicken itself is minimum of $9. Overall this place is last resort. Nothing special... well I guess the only cool thing is that it offers Mexican food but you'll pay for it. All order take 10 minutes or more, so be prepared to wait. Staff is friendly.

Whataburger is a hamburger restaurant founded in 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas by Mr. Harmon Dobson…read moreand Paul Burton. It currently has about 1,000 stores and its headquarters is in San Antonio, Texas. Whataburger is a hamburger chain restaurant only in Texas, and is a place I really wanted to visit in Texas. Not only hamburgers but also chicken sandwiches and chicken are available. We ordered two cheeseburger combos, and the price was $24. It is a good value for money. If you order a combo, you get a medium-sized cup, but the drink cup size is usually the Large or X-Large size of other fast food restaurants. Whataburger's hamburger is 5 inches in diameter, which is a very large size compared to McDonald's hamburgers which are 4 inches in diameter. The burger has a lot of mustard sauce, so it has a strong mustard flavor. If you don't like mustard sauce, I recommend asking for easy mustard when ordering.

Like a bus or two had dropped off it's passengers to eat but there was no bus(es). Not a complaint but very weird none the less. Not sure if that was commonplace or not. Wait time wasn't too bad, given the shear amount of customers that were in line, ordering and waiting for their orders for large families before I even got in line. My complaint was that the food didn't seem as hot as it should have been (almost like it was under a heat lamp but there were too many customers for that to have been the case). The bulk ketchup dispenser was either near empty or broke because we were having problems getting a usable amount out. I resorted to grabbing a massive handful of packets from the counter. There was two of the Coca-Cola fountain drink machines that have every flavor combination that they have ever created but was out of everything except root beer (vanilla optional), ginger ale (didn't check flavors) and water on one machine, water and ice on the other. The root beer was almost flat and lukewarm. The cashier spoke fluent English and Spanish so there was no issue in ordering. Two of the trash bins I saw were filled to the brim when I was waiting on my order but were changed out after I got my order. I don't know the status of the other two but wasn't really looking for it.
