Barbara also takes time to go over your taxes and suggests ways or strategies that you may wish to explore but she does make the point, in the end, it's our decision as how to proceed. Apparently, I need to wait until next April 15. I was then told that he can not contact them because he does not have power of attorney for me. So on June 30, 2011 I gave him POA. I have the email right in front of me. Two days ago when I called him about the status of my money he said that he couldn't talk to them for me because he didn't have POA for me. WHAT DID I GIVE HIM IN JUNE?!?!?!?! Apparently, my issues or account are of no real concern to him. A direct quote from his website: "Unlike some tax preparers, we are open year round, ready to assist our clients with whatever issues may arise. We strive for a personal touch in our business, offering face to face meetings and consultations. Our goal is to make sure our client understands how income taxes and accounting methods affect their personal and business life." His total lack of interest into my tax issue shows me that he has no real concern as to how my personal life has been affected. I have received no updates, no emails, no phone calls, not one thing from him. I am the one always calling him to check the status. If he really cared he would be finishing the job that I payed him to do.

On tax day April 18, 2022, not only did David answer the phone, but answered every one of my questions. To me that says volumes to his desire and willingness to help anyone in a tax situation.
