This morning I thought I would check out a new-to-me coffee place in Monza's center, but I won't be eagerly going back to Dado Cafè anytime soon...
The man who I assume to be the owner didn't greet me warmly like he did with other customers...simply just stared. I also had to wait to order because he decided that as soon as I was ready, he'd start reshuffling some plates...okay then.
I ordered a simple cappuccino and pistachio brioche, and by simple, I mean the brioche was tough in texture, filled minimally with pistachio cream, and did not have that "fresh from the oven" feel.
Ended up paying 2.80 euro for everything, and even though the inside of the cafe seemed cute and cozy, I am not planning to return. There are other cafes in the area (such as Luna Cafe) that are much better in service and quality. read more
