Daddy's is very clean. They sanitize the place twice a day, which really minimizes all the illnesses parents (time off from work) have to manage. Vadim, the head of the daycare, is very professional, organized, and has a great personality. They keep our child safe, have lunch, are communicative and supportive in the questions we have. They have a wonderful music class and take tons of pictures and send a daily report about how he spent the day. We are so appreciative for their help to raise our child. read more

A long overdue review. I would like to take this opportunity to share our experience with Daddy's Daycare as our child advance to full time public school next month! Our child has been with this daycare since 18months. He was at a different location with younger children then moved up with his peers to this current location. We have been with Daddy's Daycare since 2018 until present. We lived through the pandemic and I can say that we felt Vadim and his team have took all the precautions with safeguarding the children's welfare during the pandemic. Pre-screening checks, increased hygiene and cleanliness of the facility. This is true even before the pandemic. From the beginning, we always get messages, updates, pictures, videos about our son. They celebrate many of the holidays (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Winter holidays, etc) with parties, gifts, activities all decked out with props. They have a private outdoor play space with age appropriate equipment, water and other sensory play. Our son had a little graduation with his group earlier this month, celebrating him and his group. They made custom T-shirts, decorated the back play space and had a party! They did age appropriate activities to promote fine motor skills, arts/crafts, learning about hand hygiene through interactive play, the list goes on! Our son has made so many friends and he's going to miss his "school" and caregivers. Thank you to the caregivers for your love and care to the children. read more

Just wanted to share our experience as I know choosing the right daycare can be tough. There are so many options in the neighborhood and we switched to Daddy's daycare after a bad experience at another daycare and couldn't have been happier. Our son attended for almost 2 years and only left bc he got into 3K. We Loved our time at Daddy's daycare. We started in another location but moved to 6th avenue when our son got a little older and Nadya and Tanya were the best. They make the days so fun and do lots of art, music and activities and have outdoor time everyday (weather depending) Anytime it's someone's birthday or a holiday, they go above and beyond with celebrations. They even tried helping get our son potty trained in Preparation of 3k. Would 10/10 recommend! read more

Our daughter had her most wonderful first school year at Daddy Daycare. Nadya and Tanya provided such a helpful structure, so many creative and engaging indoor and outdoor lessons and activities, provided her meals and snacks which made our lives easier, and kept the kids excited about so many events with their many celebrations, and weekly music class with Tammy. They helped her with potty training, taking naps at school, and building so many great friendships. As a child psychologist and first time mom, I was also impressed with how they helped her adjust to school from the very start with their expertise, patience and wisdom. We loved the daily photos and quick and easy communication with the staff. We know our daughter loved her teachers and experience as she looked forward to returning each morning, and often chose to play school with us when she got home. After 6.5 wonderful years in Park Slope, we are most sad to leave Daddy Daycare in our move out of the city, but we know we will stay in touch. read more

Our little one--our first--has been at Daddy's Daycare for almost a year now. We couldn't be any happier with the experience. Vadim administers and Nadya runs an operation that has consistently impressed us in new and unexpected ways. Being our first (and being neurotic Park Slope parents), we were nervous and apprehensive about leaving our infant with just about anyone. As soon as we dropped off on the first day, those concerns faded away and we knew our child was being cared for as we would do ourselves. Importantly, the teachers at Daddy's have also helped us become better parents--observing things we would have missed and guiding us to respond in better ways. read more

Daddy's Daycare is great!  Ms. Nadya and Ms. Tanya took great care of my daughter. The facilities are bright, cheery and well maintained. It was so comforting to receive the daily pictures and videos of my daughter and her mates enjoying themselves in the rear outdoor play area, singing and dancing with their weekly music teacher and  doing various learning activities and yoga. Those pictures and videos will be keepsakes that we will cherish forever. They are so well done!  Also, the birthday celebrations are the best!  We only needed to provide cupcakes. Daddy's Daycare took care of the rest. Our daughter was really made to feel extra special that day.  Our daughter started daycare at about 1 1/2 years old and spent approximately a year there. Her journey ended only because it was time to start a montessori educational journey.  We received a lovely video montage and pictures of the party that was planned for our daughter's last day at Daddy's Daycare.  They are lovely mementos to close our family's daycare chapter. read more

Our son has absolutely loves Daddy's Daycare and so do we. We started him at this location at 17 months old when we said goodbye to our wonderful nanny and my only regret is not doing it sooner because he has thrived in this warm, caring and social environment over the past 9 months. When we toured the place I was struck by how much cleaner and newer than other daycares I had visited in the area. Vadim is very efficient and helpful, and sends many pictures to parents through the day to update us on what the kids are doing from outdoor play in their secure backyard, to art projects (all over our fridge now) and music class. Our son loves all the care givers there and I have seen other parents pick up kids with older siblings who obviously remember the care givers and still have a sweet connection. The staff ask that parents don't go into the daycare, so we do 'handover' at the door each day but this doesn't bother me as it clearly makes the daycare space less disrupted for the children, not seeing different parents come in and out at different times. My son now usually runs in each morning without looking back at me - which I take as the best review a daycare can get! Side note - no idea why my Yelp profile says I'm from San Fransisco - we most definitely live in Park Slope! read more

Our 16 month old son attends the location by 6th Avenue and 9th st. He's been enrolled at Daddy's Daycare for the past year and we are extremely pleased with his care! Nadya and Julie are exceptional caretakers and the school seems organized and runs smoothly. My son is so eager to go to school, he literally holds his shoes by our front door each morning. Each afternoon I get a stream of photos of my son engaged in countless activities both inside and outside in their play space. He seems happy and excited to be playing with a huge variety of toys, partaking in music lessons, and participating in birthday and holiday celebrations. There's good reason Daddys Daycare is in demand in Park Slope and I recommend them highly. read more

Daddy's is excellent and our toddler loves it! They are nurturing, responsive, and provide a host of engaging activities for the children.

This is the third (two kids, different ages, proximity to home) Daddy's Daycare location we have experience with, and all of them have been great. Our younger kid currently attends the one at 442 6th Ave and we can't be happier. Vadim - the owner, is very responsive and accommodating, he had no problem to accept our daughter for just one day a week when she was 5 months old, before she started to attend the daycare full-time at 8 months. She had a very easy time to adjust and now at nearly 18 months, is going there with a smile every morning. I especially appreciate that the daycare has a backyard (with swings, playhouse) and the kids get to spend time outside each day - something not granted in a city like New York. The daycare provides meals which is very convenient, and apparently our picky eater likes eating there more than she does at home. The program is rich on "crafty" activities - perhaps the fact that both of our kids love drawing, painting, and building, and were quite ahead in fine motor skills development can be attributed to that. The teachers are nice and friendly, the most telling sign is the kids' smiles when they see them. read more

We just moved from Atlanta and this is our son's first experience with daycare. Our son started with Daddy's Daycare in September, and we couldn't be happier. I visited several daycares and met with many daycare directors. I was impressed immediately with Vadim (the director). The first thing he reviewed with us was their safety protocols. Being a former principal, I was pleased that it was taken very seriously. In fact, it was the only daycare that discussed safety without my prompting. Additionally, I appreciated the colorful and well thought out play space both inside and outside. From day one I felt comfortable and confident that my son was in good hands. And most importantly, my son is excited every morning he knows he gets to go to school, and he's happy when I pick him up. Some highlights: 1. If the students can walk themselves, the teachers have the student walk in and out at drop off and pick up. I think it's an age appropriate way to build independence in the students. 2. My son comes home singing new songs every couple of weeks. 3. There are weekly art projects. 4. There are weekly texts from Vadim of my son and what he is doing during the day. 5. The teachers are very friendly, confident and informative. 6. Meals and snacks are provided. 7. The daycare asked me to write a bio of my son so that they could get to know him before his first day of school. I highly recommend Daddy's Daycare! read more

We love Daddy's Daycare! Our son is so happy and looks forward to going every day. Nadya, Tonya and Dzika are wonderful with him and he truly has the best time. We love how much they love him and how much they've taught him since he's been going (a year now). He's about to transition up to the next age group and we're so sorry to leave these wonderful women, I know he'll miss them. The owner, Vadim, has always been accommodating to our needs and requests and also has our son's best interest at heart. We had to wait a while to get a spot in the class, but we're so glad we did. It's 100% been worth it. read more

We were absolutely thrilled with Daddy's Daycare. Everyone that works there is so loving and caring we knew that our son was in good hands. We looked forward to the daily pictures they send in the afternoon. You can see they have fun with their friends and all kinds of festivities, play time and crafts. It feels like you are a part of a little family which is really special. read more

We love Daddy's Daycare. Our daughter has thrived since starting at 5 months. We love the staff -- they are always so friendly, super communicative, and so amazing with our daughter. Highly recommend! read more

Daddy's Daycare has been a great place for our daughter. The caretakers are so fun and welcoming. It's not just a room with toys. They get her doing arts and crafts projects, they have outdoor space, and swings. They have music class and they dance and do yoga. We are always amazed at how they get the babies to cooperate and sit at the table, eating lunch. They celebrate birthdays and holidays by having the babies bring home arts and crafts projects. And best of all: our daughter has made great friends with the other babies and is smiling when we drop her off and smiling when we pick her up. They have many locations, so hopefully there's one that's right for you. It really is a warm and nurturing place. read more

Our only daughter attended Daddy's Daycare since she was 4 months old. It's been fantastic from start to finish. They are open even in weather that might have closed others. They send photos of your child every day or two, a real pep-up during a long work day. The staff is very friendly and professional. They will accept children as young as 4 months, and up to over 2 years. Our daughter's baby sign improved, she started sleeping in a non-walled cot, and received partial potty training while there as she got older. She loves it there! Highly highly recommend. read more

We chose Daddy's while I was still pregnant, after visiting a few other daycares in the neighborhood. Their cleanliness, organization, and structure really stood out to us. Not to mention, Vadim was willing to work with my part time schedule and take our daughter two days a week. We started our daughter at this location when she was 12 weeks old and have been really happy ever since. Having her in this daycare helped me with establishing a nap and feeding routine. The caretakers have a lot of fun with the kids and do special things with them for the holidays. They also take the kids out to their backyard when the weather is nice which is great to know they are getting fresh air. We really like getting the picture texts to see what kind of different activities they are doing! read more

Our daughters have been attending Daddy's Daycare on 6th Ave for about a year and a half and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about Vadim, Nadya, and Daddy's Daycare as a whole. Our girls run inside every morning and talk non-stop every night about their teachers, friends, and everything they are learning. Daddy's Daycare has done a terrific job helping their development - I am so impressed with my girls' ability to spell, write, master puzzles, dance, and sing plenty of songs. Nadya and Tanya were instrumental in helping potty train, which was a much faster and smoother process than I would have ever imagined. On top of all of that, I cannot thank Daddy's Daycare enough for how they have handled COVID - they have taken all the right precautions and have been highly communicative with parents to address any concerns or questions. I don't know how our family would have fared in this pandemic without Daddy's Daycare. I can't recommend them enough! read more

My daughter just finished a wonderful year at this location. She loved it, and we did too! We appreciated the easy communication and great hours with very few closure days, but most importantly, we loved the teachers. They are very warm and loving with the children, they organize lots of activities for the kids, arts and crafts, outdoor play, music classes, and have special celebrations for birthdays and other festivities. Plus, they send lots of pictures every day around 1 pm - best moment of the day ;) The facilities are well kept and clean and there is a large backyard. Nadia, Tanya, Nino, Lucy, and Jika - we will miss you! read more

Daddy's is the best daycare in Park Slope, hands down. We chose it for our daughter because it was the cleanest and most organized daycare by leaps and bounds. It's also a very warm and colorful environment. All of my daughter's caretakers are very sweet and engaging with her, and they've all developed very personal and caring relationships. She started with Daddy's at 2 months of age, and she's developed into a very social, focused, and calm baby as a result of their constant thoughtful engagement. They've always been very flexible and accommodating, and I've never once had any issues whatsoever. I know that when I drop my daughter off, she's safe and happy, and when I pick her up she always has a smile. daddy's treats my daughter as if she's part of their family, and I can always trust that she's being treated with great care and attention at all times. We now have a very happy, social, and relaxed 9-month-old, and so much of it is a result of being at Daddy's everyday. I feel like they helped build a fantastic social and educational foundation for her going forward. Best daycare in the slope! read more
