History
Established in 2022.
Dabney’s Cannabis Company grew out of Doctor Dabs, founded by Dr. Clemon Dabney, a PhD-trained plant scientist with a background in cannabis science, cultivation, and product development. The journey began with Minnesota’s low-potency hemp-derived THC market, creating products such as THC edibles and beverages while building a business centered on science, education, and responsible cannabis use.
As Minnesota transitioned into adult-use cannabis, that work evolved into Dabney’s Cannabis Company—a locally owned South Minneapolis cannabis dispensary offering cannabis flower, pre-rolls, vapes, carts, edibles, beverages, seeds, and other products. Today, the dispensary brings together cannabis retail, cultivation knowledge, and hands-on education in one space near Minnehaha Falls, Lake Nokomis, and Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport.
