However, after our tax bill in 2011, asked several times throughout the year how we were doing. As late as November, they told us we would likely not have a tax bill that year - or a small one - and even told us not to pay our 4Q Voucher. And then we got an even bigger bill than the prior year! When we went in to ask them to explain what happened, they were not able to explain it because "the software does everything." And, not only that, they charged us extra for the time. I've used CPAs to do my taxes my entire life, and Grooms & Harkins are the most incompetent and least professional CPAs I've ever met.
