6 years I've been coming here. And for 5 years of those I've been bringing my Tesla. She has always charged me $5 extra for having a Tesla. I never argued it. Teslas are now so common there should not be an up charge but today she said it's a $20 up charge. I think their business is slow and she took advantage because she has never asked me for $20 extra dollars I literally scraped together singles I had left in the car because I always bring $45-50 for the wash. Updating my review because some days they take card and some days they take cash. It just depends, which is very inconvenient. The lady here asked me if I wanted deluxe, and I said sure! However, I overheard another customer that they only accepted cash and to use their ATM. It feels distasteful since the last time I came here, they didn't have change for my cash ($100 bill) and asked if I wanted to pay with card. So always bring cash if you DO come and don't let them up sell you! The lady will try to up sell you and say cash only. If it's just the guys working, they are more honorable and may accept card. read more

This place use to be my go to. They use to have reasonable prices but they have skyrocketed. With their new prices we got the delux for a 4 door sedan, it should have been around 35, understandably they said it would be more due to dog hair but ended up charging 90 at the end! Prices don't seem to match up to their descriptions at all. Prices shouldn't go more than double , and this is already on top of price spike . Been coming here for years but they are under new management now. I always get the basic exterior wash for $20. I called before bringing my car in because they had been closed due to switching of management. They said exterior washed start at $20. I figured my compact Tesla model 3 would still remain $20 but it had doubled to $40. When I asked "why" all the said was "because it's a Tesla". My Tesla model 3 is a compact car smaller than many other make/models. No extra work/washing needed to be done so I just don't understand why it doubled. Came here based on a few reviews. I thought I give it a shot since it was fairly inexpensive. Little did I know. All the prices went up!!! Service was fairly decent. Guys worked fairly hard washing the car and cleaning the interior. Not too crazy about the gloss of their interior protectant. Makes the interior look cheap! They also missed a few spots. Didn't notice it until I parked the car. Place would've gotten 3 stars if I didn't have to clean some of the spots off. Overall I do not believe it was worth $46 ($6 tip) for the executive package. $30 probably would've been okay. I do not plan to return since the location sucks and price is too high. read more

Been coming here for 5 years, this time I tried to get my car waxed. I was told it would take a whole day and had to come back after agreeing on a price. I came back and the guy didn't show so being a loyal customer I agreed to come back. Finally after returning 3 times she changed the price $100 more from the agreed on a price. Not sure what the recent reviewers are tripping about, but this place has never failed me, or the customers that frequent the place. I see repeat customers when I come through for my bi-weekly wash and hold a conversation every now and then with them, and they've been coming here for years, just like I have. Over the years, what I have seen is people (Chad's and Karen's) trying to get their way and squeeze a VERY laborious detail with pet-hair removal for under $70 (the mini detail many on here speak of). WTF are people smoking? Lol... honestly, that kind of shit pisses me off. THEN, these C's and K's come on here and leave a damaging review. I came through today and asked Leticia where her Glock was, because apparently she's holding these people hostage and forcing them to accept their services. SMH. Unfortunately for the business, Leticia and David are VERY nice (too nice) and they do their best to work with you and your budget, while trying not to damage their reputation by doing so. Anyway... It used to be my go to car wash back when it was only $6 for a detail exterior hand wash, I mean everyone in the area talk about it, they all came here, fast service and very thorough work; a long line of cars backed up all the way from the street to the alley; I came here so many times to the point I knew everyone here like a family, David, Letty and their Mom, I even had David installed radio to my car, I gave Letty kids zoo passes in exchange for my car wash. Those were fun times, but lately I felt their service was going down hill, I haven't seen them stay opened for more than a week, they closed for several days, and it's not just the day when the weather was bad, but sometimes on a sunny day, I really don't know what happened to them, but I do hope they will reopen soon read more

One of the most annoying things about washing my car myself, are the little yellow bug spots that love to hang out forever. Honestly, if it weren't for those lil buggers, I wouldn't have such an issue washing it myself! I'd rather pay $15 (#1) for this team of three to take care of it. Whatever soap or spray they use, my car is shiny--'like diamon' in da sky (cue Anjelah Johnson's nailshop voice). This was worth it. Wheels degreased, windows blinging, my car is on point, back to its sexy self. There were two other cars there before me on a Friday afternoon, but I think I still have only been here for 45 minutes. He's even got all up in the grill. I think I drove by it 3x before I found it. Kind of in a sketch area, but whatever, smart business people to keep a low overhead. As long as they do the job right, right? It's close to Hoover HS, the Weinerschnitzel, and located behind an auto repair shop. Hope that helps! The driveway is super small, so it is not lowered car friendly, unless maybe you drive through the alley way, but usually you leave through the alley way, which also has some crazy bumps and cracks and dips in the road. Its fast and simple though, you drive in, you check in at the counter, you choose your service, you pay, and then you watch them clean your car. Yes, they do charge more if your car is extra dirty. Yes, they do charge more if you have a larger vehicle. Yes, the prices are not based for all car sizes and conditions and the discrepancy sucks. But I came closer to closing, and they had four guys on my car at the same time, and I can say that my car was looking fresh inside and outside, although some slight watermarks after driving it. I've used this car wash in the past. I already knew about the price going up if the lady found dog hair (my interior had ZERO dog hair). I waited patiently as the customer ahead of me got his vehicle washed. After about 20-25 minutes of waiting, the lady with the tattooed eyebrows comes up to me and asks which service I'd like. I tell her I'd like the Full Service wash. I can already see her looking at my Jeep floors trying to spot dog hairs. She tells me, let me ask my guy how much to wash your Jeep. I ask her why? I already know it's going to cost me $50 (I always tip afterwards too). So she walks up to one of the guys that's drying the vehicle ahead of me. Mind you, the guy never even turned his head to look at my Jeep. She then walks back to me and tells me $70. I said, $70???? It says $49.99 on your service pricing. The lady then proceeds to tell me it's because my Jeep is dirty. Well no $h!t lady, why do you think I'm here to wash my Jeep? Anyways, I used to like this place because they are one of the few places near me that does hand wash. I won't be going back again. I wanted to get the Jeep cleaned to give to my friend for house renovations he completed and I was too lazy to wash it myself. I guess I'll just wash it myself tomorrow before handing him the keys. I've tried so many different car washes and even mobile auto detailers closer to my house in South-bay and I'm always disappointed. I just decided to go back to this place after not going for a year and decided the 30 minute drive is WORTH it! The owner leticia is the SWEETEST woman and always greets you with a smile. The guys do an incredibly detailed job for an outstanding price ! Their deluxe #3 is basically a complete detail for $35 and they do just as good of a job on their basic wash #2 for $20. It may not look like much because it's behind an auto place but TRUST me do not judge a book by its cover! This place is awesome so stop by and give them a try! read more

Hard to find, I drove past it a couple times and it wasn't until I somehow ended up in the alley that I realized its location (behind a repair shop and a fast food joint, away from the street). I've come here a couple times and love the mom-and-pop vibe. There's a shaded section with a plastic table and chairs where you can wait as your car is hand-washed right in front of you by 2-3 people. This was not an easy place to find... it's located in sort of a one-way way behind an auto repair shop, Huy's Auto Repair Shop. In fact, the driveway to turn in is right by their Auto Repair sign. If you're driving down El Cajon, it's right between 46th and Chamoune. If you've hit either of those streets, you've gone too far. They have a small sidewalk sign out front too to help people find the entrance. When I came around 2:30PM on a Tuesday, there was no one there. I ended up getting wash #3 for $20, which included a vacuum. My car was already pretty clean inside to begin with, but because I have a black interior, it's so easy to see everything so I wanted it spotless. They also did the tire dressings and cleaned the rims. When I was watching them, they also got the edges of the doors. They had a nice seating area to the side as well so I was waiting comfortably. I had been worried that they would try to upcharge me like a lot of other reviewers mentioned, but I had no such trouble. Some things that they could have done better on: the edges around the trunk. For example, when you open the trunk, the edges around the opening always seem to be missed. Also, although they got the side edges of the doors, they did not get the bottom. Overall though, I thought it was a decent value. I think I will be back, but I may get #2 next time and hand vacuum at home. CASH ONLY! read more

This place seems sketchy to me for 2 reasons reasons. 1. They're all over the place with their price quotes. I asked for a full detailing and they first quoted me $250. I wasn't trying to spend this much money so she quoted me $80 for the detailing minus the shampooing of the carpet and seats. I thought this was fair considering my vehicle is a super crew F150. 2. I left an accordion file, clipboard, and car charger at their desk during the detailing. Initially, I forgot it so I walked back to my truck to leave. I remembered before pulling out so I went back to get it to see that the woman at the desk had been using my clipboard. She even had stored a pen inside the storage compartment which she removed before handing it back to me. I'll let you be the judge of this occurrence but it seemed sketchy and dishonest. Why would you even touch my personal belongings? Not to mention my business clipboard... 3. I left my truck here and left for 3 hours so I wasn't able to watch them do the detailing so I don't know how much time was spent. The inside looks beautiful, with armor all on everything. I came into the business REALLY skeptical. And honestly, if I wasn't blocked in immediately after I drove in (after driving around and around trying to find it), I prob would have left. No one greeted me, looked at me or made any effort to give me a sense of what was going on. I hate that because then you look like a D but really you've never been there so of course you don't know what's going on. Eventually someone gave me a really warm greeting and their sincerest apologies. They were obviously super busy and short handed by two people. In a family business like this, two people is critical. I appreciated the eventual effort and forgave them on the spot. A real apology goes a LONG way. Quick FYI: it seems like you sit in your car in line and then just drive up. Eventually you get close enough and someone will talk to you. It's possible one of the people missing was the person who walks up to you when you drive in. Watching them work on my car I began to get giddy for my new ride courtesy of Da Wash. I kicked myself for not bringing more cash to tip but vowed to make it up to them by being a new great loyal customer. ***** Almost 3 weeks later and things still look great. I did some minor touch ups but nothing to cause me to break out a sweat and I've had like 20 people in my car (Lyft)! I came back just because I want the people I pick up to have a new car every ride. But I could have gotten by with some quick vacuuming and a $5 exterior wash at the gas station. For all their washes they pressure wash the exterior, which is great because ours somehow got covered with tree sap over night. We were in and out of there in about 10 mins. I went here twice before, and they were nice, and I am a generous tipper, but I'm not sure what's up with the cashier lady.. who just sits there and not do any of the work.. I brought my own towels so they can wipe down the inside because their towels smells muggy like it was used wet towels, and I'd assume, itd be better for them.. but lady goes off and said, no. And they are going to use their towels. Even the worker was asking her why? But I guess she's on a good power trip. And she told me if I don't like it then take the business somewhere else?
