They have a menu but it isn't accurate since they might not have what you want in stock. The seafood is super fresh and varies based on what the catch of the day/week was. We came here after spending the day at the Roermond Outlets, and they had salmon, cod and mussels in stock. You can't be that close to the Belgian border and not have mussels in June! Mussels were fresh, plump and so juicy! They were served with some fries and various sauces. The cod was also very good, simply pan seared and served with a side salad. Food here is simple and fresh - cooked to let the natural flavors shine. Their English isn't very good, though they speak Dutch and German, so really pay attention to what they tell you especially since there is no menu and you want to know how much things cost. Overall, main courses are around €25-30/person. Food: 4/5 Simple, fresh and tasty. Service: 3/5 Typical Dutch service... made more difficult by the fact their English isn't very good. Atmosphere: 4//5 Sitting outside on a beautiful day is a true Dutch experience. A lot of locals have dinner here and it is located near a busy square so you can also do a bit of people watching. Value: 3/5 €30-35/person: main course + drink

(See photo below) Ein durchweg gelungenes Geschmackserlebnis.

What can a London-based chain restaurant tell me about Japanese food/ramen? Very little…read more It's my second time at this location (The Outlet in Roermond, The Netherlands) and it wasn't any better than the first. Walked in just before their lunch rush and ordered the Shirodashi ramen. Place was clean, trendy deco and the music was hip. First, my ramen did not resemble the photo on the menu/website. Mine looked haphazardly constructed. The pork belly looked like it was tossed in instead of displayed. Dish temperature could have been a bit hotter as well. Secondly, the broth could have been richer and deeper in taste. Perhaps its saltiness compensated for the blandness of the stock/broth. They should lose that uncomfortable wooden ladle contraption and replace it with a proper Chinese/Japanese soup spoon. I want to like it but it's not happening.

After a long morning of shopping we decided to go for lunch to the newly opened Wagamama restaurant…read morein the Roermond Outlet. The service was really friendly and attentive and spoke perfect English. We were immediately seated and got a table outside at the small street terrace. The menu has several starters, ramens, currys, noodles and teppanyaki. For each meal it's possible to chose the type of noodles. We tried the Gyoza which come with a special, a bit spicy sauce. They were good, however not crunchy at all. For the mains we took the Shirodashi Ramen and the Seared Nuoc Cham Tuna. The ramen had a tasty chicken/miso broth and plenty of toppings. The egg was however hard boiled. The Tuna was not overcooked and was juicy. It was accompanied with quinoa and seasonal steamed vegetables. Taken that this is a chain and a restaurant in a shopping mall it was good value for the money and a good pit stop before continuing the shopping.
