Started our…read moredinner with freshly prepared tomato cream soup that elicited aahs and oohs all around the table. My wife's main course was a flounder fished earlier that day right out of the Baltic a few miles away. I had a fantastic (and light!) entree, a combination of excellent roast beef slices and fried potatoes. The chocolate cake for dessert was also all you can ask for. Both the "Lille" beer and the red wine were just right as accompaniments (as common in this part of the world, the choice of beers is more interesting than the wine list). As a conclusion, I enjoyed a state-of-the-art ice cold akvavit. The outstanding quality of the food was matched by the attentiveness, promptness and courtesy of our server, Madeleine. In sum, I propose this restaurant is worth any detour once you're touring Northern Schleswig-Holstein!
