We showed up at 8:30 pm to find many empty tables, but we were told very brusquely by an employee that the kitchen was already closed. There were still many people eating and signs indicating reserved tables for later that evening; according to Yelp and the sign on the front door, the restaurant closes at 10:00. We were a multilingual and multiracial group, dressed appropriately for dinner out. I don't know why we were not welcome in this restaurant, but I cannot advise anyone to dine here after this experience.

On entering we hadn't anticipated how charming the interior was. The Service was very good. The ladies wore tradition costumes. Mark ordered a beef stroganoff. It was so delicious. I had the pierogi. Homemade and heavenly. Portions are very generous. We also bought some of the preserves they sold. A very pleasant dining experience indeed. No nonsense, unpretentious home cooking.

About the hotel it is suppose to be a 4 star hotel but far away from that. We came on a really hot summer day and our room Was boiling so that the complimentary chocolate was mealting. We ask of their is a possibility to get a fan or different room since that wasn't human for us and the baby. But either way didn't work because wasn't aviable. The hotel didn't had a receptionist after 10am and you had to go up to the 3rd floor with an elevator and down the stairs and that all with a stroller and in the dark creepy. Also when we ask for more towels because we wanted to go to the beach and had only 2 towels for 3 ppl in the room they said is not possible and only gave us more when we certainly gave them the used towels on the reception table. The breakfast was really nice and the deck outside for the morning start great too... I would not recommend this hotel to anyone because they do charge a good dollar for a dated hotel which certainly didn't meet some standards anymore. Don't waste you money their probably so much nicer hotels on this beautiful Island. I forgot to mention no Insects Screen on the windows either so if you try to cool Down the Sauna room doing night and put on the light a mosquito invasion attacks you...
