Over the following week, I received multiple emails asking--sometimes practically begging--for a five-star review over multiple platforms. I understand that small businesses rely on feedback, but the persistence felt unprofessional and unnecessary. It put a sour note on what had otherwise been a decent experience. Overall, the inspection was fine, but the pushy follow-up makes me hesitant to recommend without reservations.

I messed up and did not have it professionally inspected upon delivery....I did not have power and water ready to hook up to it. I trusted the builder who insisted his reputation would ensure he took care of any issues........the roof leaked at all 3 skylights upon the first rain......the dishwasher never worked (it was a 2012 unit but the builder claimed it was new in a box from Ebay when he bought it in 2020)....we had septic smells and found all the traps incorrectly installed.......several outlets were not grounded - there is a ground through the roof with no sealant and not to code.....bathroom and outside outlet were not GFI...........NOT QUALITY and now NOAH Cert nor the builder are making it right. the builder offered to install the proper flashing kits and replace the metal roof with a rubber roof........but the VELUX skylights are for a minimum 3" pitch..........BE CAREFUL. have professionally inspected before you purchase - DO NOT COUNT on a NOAH CERTIFICATION to mean anything.

This month i found out that my homeowners Insurance was no longer available and every Insurance company was requiring a copy of the wind mitigation report in order to insure me. We are snowbirds and my file covering our home purchase is up north. I never thought that I would be able to contact J&P and get the file complete with photos FOUR YEARS LATER. Of course the seller isn't happy with those "Nit Picking" finds, but the buyer that Mr Simons represents likes them. It then becomes an issue between the buyer and the seller whether as to what is acceptable or can be overlooked. He found many things involved with the house some things the owner took care of and somethings were not that important to me so I took care of them. He represented me and found that the roof was damaged from a hail storm. The owner went through his insurance company and had the damaged tabs replaced. I thought he did a great job, but maybe not so from a sellers point of view. As a buyer I couldn't ask for more.

The report captured everything--from small cracks and gaps in grout and sealant to thermal imaging that revealed misplaced insulation batts in the attic. Eric took the time to walk us through everything in person before he left, answering questions and explaining issues clearly and patiently. D'Angelo is as good as it gets for home inspections…read more I was surprised to not see any reviews for an outfit that has a stellar rep on TOTV, but there are not too many Yelpers in my neck of the woods, methinks. The " right before your warranty expires" inspection is a family team effort. The two sons come out , with one handling the interior and the other the exterior. Happily there were no major issues, but they did find a bunch of small tweaks, as they covered every inch of the house. The report gets automatically sent to The Warranty department, who then contact all the relevant subcontractors. They then called us to schedule what day to execute the repairs. The entire process is smooth and seamless. So I would imagine that other fellas with magnetic signs on their cars, misspellings and broken links on their website are cheaper, but I don't think D'Angelo missed anything there was to be found.
