We were very disappointed with John Devine's inspection after closing. We discovered a number of broken items and issues after closing.

Did a home inspection for the potential home purchase. Very thorough in his inspection.

I used Dennis Simons for a house I was purchasing. He did find many of the thinks that the one star…read morereview noted in his complaint. Of course the seller isn't happy with those "Nit Picking" finds, but the buyer that Mr Simons represents likes them. It then becomes an issue between the buyer and the seller whether as to what is acceptable or can be overlooked. He found many things involved with the house some things the owner took care of and somethings were not that important to me so I took care of them. He represented me and found that the roof was damaged from a hail storm. The owner went through his insurance company and had the damaged tabs replaced. I thought he did a great job, but maybe not so from a sellers point of view. As a buyer I couldn't ask for more.

However, he wrote page after ppage of cosmetic defects on our 21 year old home. I've never encountered an inspection of such nit-picking items. Some of these were: two small pavers misaligned, minor hole damage on vinyl siding, storm shutter is unsecured by one nail that popped, etc, etc. Now mind you, he never turned on a major appliance-the dishwasher-to see if it even worked..Now if you need a religious tirade on scriptures defending the union of only female and male, Dennis is the man for you. Never would I have him in my home for anything-sellers beware.

Not sure why this company has so few reviews--because they are truly outstanding…read more We were immensely impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism of both the inspection and the final report. The attention to detail was exceptional. We had already identified a handful of items we wanted to address before our one-year warranty expired, but their comprehensive inspection went far beyond that. The report captured everything--from small cracks and gaps in grout and sealant to thermal imaging that revealed misplaced insulation batts in the attic. Eric took the time to walk us through everything in person before he left, answering questions and explaining issues clearly and patiently. Within an hour of completing the inspection, we received an extremely detailed report complete with clear photos and explanations. They even forwarded the report directly to the builder, and we had vendors calling us within hours to schedule the minor repairs. We truly cannot say enough good things about this company. Eric is meticulous in the best possible way and caught numerous small details we would have completely overlooked. It's rare to find a business this professional, thorough, and responsive. Highly recommended.

D'Angelo is as good as it gets for home inspections…read more I was surprised to not see any reviews for an outfit that has a stellar rep on TOTV, but there are not too many Yelpers in my neck of the woods, methinks. The " right before your warranty expires" inspection is a family team effort. The two sons come out , with one handling the interior and the other the exterior. Happily there were no major issues, but they did find a bunch of small tweaks, as they covered every inch of the house. The report gets automatically sent to The Warranty department, who then contact all the relevant subcontractors. They then called us to schedule what day to execute the repairs. The entire process is smooth and seamless. So I would imagine that other fellas with magnetic signs on their cars, misspellings and broken links on their website are cheaper, but I don't think D'Angelo missed anything there was to be found.
