I have been working out at D1 for about 6 weeks, and I have to say at first I was a little worried/nervous about joining. I've never been the athletic type or worked out regularly, I'm a work in progress. My worries with D1 were that I was not going to make it through the work outs, that it was geared more towards just athletic people already in shape. This is not necessarily the case, yes, they have a ton of things for athletes wanting to be more proficient in certain areas, but the workouts that I have been a part of push me to points I never pushed myself,but are not impossible and that's what I needed. Before D1 I went to another gym and tried to do my own workouts, but not having an athletic background, I would find myself going from machine to machine not really doing the exercises correctly and left feeling discouraged. With D1 I have a coach that I can get assistance with posture and technique, help tips ect. At D1, the coaches are also understanding of injuries, and try to adjust workouts that cause you pain to something you can do and still benefit from. I absolutely love all of the staff and coaches I have worked with, everyone there makes you feel welcome and will help you in anyway. Tanner, Tyler, Chaz and Emily I have worked with the most and they are all fantastic people. I have a 3 year old daughter that is with me at my work outs, and everyone plays with her and helps keep her occupied so I can get my work out in, and gets her energy out. I am so grateful I found D1 when I did, I'm much closer to my goals because of them. read more

I've always gone to and have had regular gym memberships that I never. Stay. Consistent. Or committed to. I would walk into the gym honestly not knowing where to even start and I'd just waste my money by ultimately not going. With D1, my whole mindset changed. The whole "classes" like the bootcamp ones - you walk in when it's almost time for the class and it's a constant Go. Youre told what to do, how to do it, and you're pushed to the max to keep going during the hour. The workouts in themselves make me sweat so much and after I'm left feeling amazing and accomplished. This place is worth every penny. These people keep you motivated and constantly push you to do your ultimate best and even if you can't do a certain movement they work with you and have you do something else!! After having a baby it was hard to get back into working out. My neighbor told me about D1, and it couldn't have sounded more perfect for what I wanted and needed to obtain the goals I had in mind. It took me a few weeks to actually commit myself, but once I did I regretted not doing it sooner. They offered a free week to try them out, but after my first boot camp I was HOOKED! I had tried F45, which I liked, but it felt rushed, was repetitive, and it lacked the strengthening I was seeking. D1 was the perfect combo offering multiple options and times to fit my forever shifting schedule. Boot camp and strength sessions are always different, and it never gets old. EVERY trainer I've had has been AMAZING, fun, and motivating. I live close to their location, which helps, but now that I know what D1 is all about I'd drive across town to work out with them if I had to. I highly recommend D1. I've checked out a few other gyms in the area, and D1 is by far the best option for my personal (and my husband's) needs. Their location is just off the highway and easy to access from most places in the Treasure Valley. Tanner, Doug, and the rest of the D1 team are focused on one thing and one thing only: helping you be the best version of yourself. Whether you're looking for a more cardio-focused or strength-focused workout, you have a balanced option for both, multiple times per day. This team is focused on you pushing yourself, but ensuring you're doing it with proper form without injuring yourself (something that isn't necessarily common at similar gyms). Words can't even begin to express just how much I love D1! I recently had a baby and I wanted to start exercising again, but was a little nervous to jump into group fitness classes, since my fitness level is back to beginner status. I quickly discovered that D1 is for everyone. All of the trainers have been pleasant and helpful at modifying exercises for my fitness level. I love that every 8 weeks we have max week and are able to see just how much progress we've made on different fitness tests. You really aren't joining a gym when you join D1, you're joining a team. That has been the aspect I've loved the most as I've gotten to know the trainers and staff. They care just as much about the progress you are making as you do. If you're on the fence, give it a try! Literally the best Gym I've been to! I use to work out a big box gyms and never fully felt motivated enough to continue to go. With D1 the Manger Tanner paired me up with Luke and the difference is day and night! Luke is super motivating, understanding and knowledgeable about his workouts along with being able to explain proper form with workouts. He also makes workouts enjoyable and easy to navigate. Overall this gym has an awesome vibe too it and everyone there genuinely wants to be there. I joined D1 right when they opened, and have not been disappointed. The trainers pay attention, and after a few sessions of them seeing you, they'll know just how hard to push you individually. Now, the main reason I decided to write this post is because I had surgery for a torn ACL, and every time I've gone to a class the coach has individualized a workout for me, so that I can keep coming even though I have limited mobility. That proves more than anything, to me, that they will always make sure that you feel at home, and that no matter the circumstance they will make it possible for you to get fit. read more

So i've never been one to join a gym. I have always done some workout routines at home. I also work very hard physically and own my own business. D1 has is not your typical gym. I've never been so motivated to keep going, the people and the coaches are amazing. I have yet to do the same workouts and have been going for almost a month. I do really feel like I'm apart of something bigger and part of a team. I can safely say that D1 has started a whole knew era of my life. Not sure where to start...everyone at D1 is amazing! This is way out of my comfort zone, but the coaches make me feel like I can do it. Bootcamp is hard and pushes me past my limits, but the coaches are motivating, encouraging, friendly and know how to keep me going! I love that there are so many times available so I can make bootcamp work around my work schedule. This is the place that has brought back the passion of weight lifting to me. Just over 30 days ago, the owner invited me to check out his training facility and I fell in love with it. In under 30 days I've attended 20 strength training classes and I've gone from 16.25% bf down to 13.81%. I can't wait to see what else I can do. I was nervous to start a new gym and especially one that is geared toward athletes (I'm pretty uncoordinated), but even from the first class the entire staff was so welcoming! I usually only drag my butt to the gym 2-3 times a week but since joining D1 have been going every single weekday morning. I have been taking my 12 year old son to D1 Training for about a month now and he LOVES it! All the coaches work really well with him, and he comes home excited about the new exercises that he is learning and the progress he is making. The Devo classes provide the strength training he needs to help him become a better athlete. Most importantly, it gets him away from video games and it is something that he looks forward to doing! All of the staff and trainers at D1 are amazing folks! The trainers make accommodations if there is an exercise that I'm quite capable of doing yet. I'm getting stronger and have more endurance because they are patient with me. I love the energy and group encouragement of everyone, including the other clients.
