This was hands down the best at home taco experience we've ever had. From the very first conversation with David to the actual presentation and service, everything was 5 stars. David worked with me to understand our needs and then created a custom menu that included a selection of high quality meats, quesadillas and a stand-out homemade salsa bar. Everyone at the party commented that the food was incredible - asking for his number on the spot. Thank you David for making my husbands birthday such a success. We'll absolutely be using you again. read more

David was great. He accommodated a last minute scheduling change and everything went off without a hitch. His tacos are delicious and I would highly recommend him. read more

Fabulous taco catering. Everything was made with love and care and you could absolutely taste it. We had a number of middle school boys and they couldn't get enough. The food was impressive and chef is very professional and easy to work with. Homemade salas, tortillas, quality meat, and tasty salsas - Can't wait for our next event with him! read more

David was the best! From our first phone call down to the last guacamole bite...he took care to give us an awesome experience! His food was beyond delicious, expertly prepared, set up in our backyard and served to our family. I highly recommend him for your next event. read more

David does it again! This was the second time I have booked David, this time for a 30th birthday party for my son. Once again he was fantastic! Great food, great attitude, excellent communication, on time and on fire! And all at a reasonable price. Delicious al pastor, carne asada, and chicken tacos - don't forget to include the grilled veggies and without question add his KILLER guacamole and grilled pineapple salsa to go with his outstanding al pastor tacos. Thank you David! Looking forward to another party with you catering. read more

Best most delicious mouth watering tacos I've had yet highly recommend If you book them asap 20/10 read more

Do they give Michelin stars to taco carts? If so I nominate D'z Tacos! David outdid himself yet again. I booked David in December for my birthday party and got the basic package. Everybody lost their minds over the tacos. For my son's high school graduation party I upgraded and added the carnitas package, guac, pineapple salsa, and my only regret is that I didn't upgrade the first time around! I have experienced countless taco carts at various parties over the years. Some are good, others aren't so good. NONE can even come close to D'z Tacos. They are mouthwateringly delicious, the flavor palate is gourmet level, and the salsas/sides are the perfect compliment. The guacamole is also to die for. I love all of the tacos but my favorite are the carnitas (which he starts cooking a few days before the event) and the skirt steak - both with his famous garlic oil. I promise you that your guests will be lining up to get seconds (and thirds), and for his contact info at the end of the night. One guest at the grad party ate 16 tacos. If you really want to make your event stand out, don't just order any taco cart, book D'z and you will be blown away. As much as I'd love to gatekeep this chef, he's also an awesome human and I want to do whatever I can to ensure that he keeps making these outstanding tacos. read more

Great staff, and delicious food! 10/10 experience. Definitely recommend to everyone and anyone!!

David, the owner of D'z Tacos, is very passionate when it comes to his business and satisfying his clients. From the beginning, communication was easy. He responded on the same day, was very detailed, informative, and gave me time to process and make a decision. Once we agreed on the day and my package, he sent me a copy of the menu that I had selected including prices so there would be no surprises. When the day came, he was punctual and got everything ready quickly. Now let's "taco bout" (talk about- get it) the food! I got the steak, chicken, and al pastor package along with the beans, rice, and oat horchata. Saying that everything was delicious would be an understatement. The meats were very flavorful, juicy, and better quality overall than those you'd find with other taco vendors. Seasoned to perfection! The rice and the beans were always warm and very good too. David uses olive oil instead of lard. I honestly didn't think the oat horchata was going to be good, but boy was I wrong. It was smooth, light, and just the right amount of sweet. David also brought salsas, limes, diced onions, cilantro, and yellow peppers that he grilled and drizzled with homemade lemon pepper seasoning. The man is so passionate about his craft that he even explained to me how the onions must be diced finely and need to be symmetrical. Like I said, he's passionate and takes every aspect of his job very seriously. I shared with him that I had hired a terrible "taco man" the prior year and that my family and friends didn't trust my good judgment anymore, but because of David, I have redeemed myself. If you're looking to "wow" your guests, send David a message. You won't regret it. P.S. sorry I didn't take any pictures (too busy eating) read more

It was my first booking a taco man and I have to say David was excellent! So easy and walked me through pricing. More than enough food for everyone, and everyone loved it! And my family are hard critics. Makes the best sauces and salsas that pair so well with the tacos. The tortillas we fresh, he was punctual and professional. Will be booking him again soon! read more

Dz's tacos are on point, their carne asada is super fresh & amazing. Their guac is Next level. Best thing there is their signature Garlic Oil, wow, beyond amazing. I will def be using them again for their catering services. Thanks again David! read more

This is my wife and I's 3rd time booking David. The man is passionate about his cooking. Freshly made tortillas in the morning for our event in the afternoon, a garlic oil with amazing flavor, freshly made salsa and all the fixings. All of his meats are amazing but the standouts for me are his chorizo (first time having that) and his special carnitas. The carnitas is to die for. With his great attitude, energy and amazing food, you can't go wrong with David read more

He was the taco man for my uncle's 20th wedding anniversary party and it was top notch. Quality of the meat was great, and his beans and rice were flavorful and like my mom makes. Can't wait for him to feed us agains soon. read more

D'z Tacos is amazing! My daughter in law found him for me on Yelp five days prior to my event. Thank goodness he was available. Best tacos in all of Los Angeles. Thanks again David!!!

Great food and condiments. Shrimp tacos are amazing, will hire him again! Recommend him 100%

I've just had my bday party catered by David and the food was amazing. Every one of my guests said the tacos tasted great. I got carne asada and chicken. Then added a few packages including guac and chips, grilled veggies. David was great to work with. He was really nice and even came early to ensure that he started on time. I can't say enough good things about him. Have no worries if you decide to book with him. Thanks again David! read more

Awesome company to work with.... great food and on time, it's hard to find a company that says something And deliver at 110%. Would recommend these tacos to everyone..... give them a try read more

had D'z tacos , these guys must either be extremely cheap " i don't know since i was a guest" for all these reviews to be 5 stars, or friends. The grill was dirty and so was the table he set up. The onions were chopped uneven and the salsa was mediocre to say the least, I gave him 2 stars because the guy was nice, In short: Tacos are nothing special, equipment is dirty, wouldn't hire myself. read more

This was absolutely the best idea for my wedding! They were hired to serve 350 people and I was sooo impressed by the excellent job. Everything tasted amazing, it was extremely professional, they were very friendly and attentive to all my guest. The set up was elegant too. I looked into this for a while and found they had the most lowest/ reasonable prices. I most definitely will hire them again... Highly recommended. read more

Please give D'z Taco a try. David is truly professional and will give you the best service. This will be the HIGHEST review I gave. After a bad experience with another catering company, D'Z Taco is a very nice change. Great Great communication since Davis made sure the event will go well. His recommendation on what to serve is spot on. He saved me a LOT of money. His food is delicious. David is finishing culinary school too. His passion for serving tacos shows in his superb service and food quality. I just can't say enough good thing about D'z Taco. My event was a great success because of him. He showed up on time and stay until everyone is well fed. If you read this review you should stop here and hire him. There is none better. I will use and recommend him for any future services. read more

I usually wait a day, 2 days, more likely a week to write a yelp review. This review could not wait. We celebrated my daughter's birthday today with a family gathering of about 45 people. David's food was the hit of the party. Everybody loved it and every guest complimented the food. David arrived when he said he would arrive, was in touch with me all week, and could not be more professional. Wish I could give him more stars. read more

We brought David back for a graduation party last weekend and he delivered great results for us again. Many of our guests have been reaching out to us to get David's number for their upcoming parties. I can't recommend D'z tacos enough for the great food, service, and value. Thanks David! read more

David was great, super clear communication, great price, came early, very friendly, we had shrimp, steak, chicken, al pastor, veggies (and grilled chiles, which people loved.). Chips and guacamole, and the salsas were awesome. Everyone just kept going back for more tacos the whole night till they were all gone. Get more than you think you need IMO because people will gorge themselves lol. read more

We have used David for 2 holiday events last year and are planning to use him again for 2 more this holiday season. He is absolutely wonderful and our guests can't get enough of the great food. He is a good communicator and very dependable which I love because hosting parties are stressful enough that I don't want to be worrying about the food. He does great at laid back events like birthday parties and corporate-type office events as well since he has an upbeat personality and is professional. The prices can't be beat for the high quality food and service. Try D'z if you want a stress-free and delicious experience! read more

I havent had the chance to try them out. I am updating a prior review, which was left based off miscommunication & misunderstanding. David took the time to explain everything. Thanks. read more

Very accommodating and flexible. Straight forward, honest and reasonable prices. Had a party in a venue were onsite cooking was not allowed. But we still want tacos so they delivered the food and preheated the tortillas kept warm in a styro box. Food was good and everybody liked it. Will definitely use them again and this time with the full grill. read more

A great way to feed a crowd. We had David cater an event for 50 people. We couldn't have been more pleased. The guests raved about the food! I will definitely call David the next time I need to feed a lot of people an excellent meal. Thank you, David! read more

We had the best party and D'z Tacos was AWESOME! I contacted David by phone after doing much research with other taco catering services. David was professional and walked me through all my questions. We had 3 meats (Al Pastor, Carne Asada and Chorizo) with the rice and beans. Everything was AMAZING. All my guest had plenty to eat and raved about how good it was. David showed up on time, and while I was in the house getting ready for the party I could smell the meat cooking. It was great to see he was cooking all the meat right there, nothing was precooked-he cooked the meats on site. What a treat-he served for two hours (6pm-8pm). The cost is totally worth it. The party was a great success and stress free. We live on Fort McArthur military housing and the security is very tight-other taco caterers could not guarantee getting onto base with proper id-registration and insurance. David on the other hand had no problem and assured me all his paperwork was in order. He had no problem getting onto base for the party and come to find out he has done multiple parties here before. Highly recommend his services-it's hard to find someone around here that can get onto base. Thanks David-We will never forget this party read more
