This practice was the most unprofessional and disgusting place I've ever been to…read more It took ME to suggest going to an ENT before the so called health professional suggested it after 6 ear infections!! Thankfully I have a ppo. The majority of the appt the nurse and Dr are filling out paperwork and don't even do thorough physical exams. It's like they just exist, no questions about diet, environment. The bar is so low here and they're rude! Ga has the worst healthcare in the country and it shows! The staff is rarely on time and gets upsets when you speak up. They cover for each other. The Dr rarely saw my children and when I complained that I did not want the NP seeing him bc she took a picture of his private and then we never heard back, my family was dismissed. I emailed the Dr about this and never heard back to even aknowledge what her employee did. The office released my 18 year olds records without his consent over EMAIL to me! ( a hipaa violation) The DR never reached out and now almost a year later they keep contacting me to go there. Abby the rudest and most clueless front desk person was simply appalled that I would be upset that they keep contacting me after this incident. Does anyone here understand how communication, cause and effect works? Duh!! I'd be upset. If I was so terrible that you dismissed me without any explanation why wouldn't you black list me from the distribution list. Inefficient and dumb! The new doctor told us that because I asked to delay one of my child's vaccines by just one week, they would no longer see us. What's most frustrating is that they've never had a problem with me spacing vaccines before. The only reason I even ask is because I have a documented history that my son had a bad neurological reaction to a vaccine in the past, so I feel more comfortable spreading them out. I am not anti-vaccine -- I just want to be careful given our family's history. There was no conversation, no understanding, and no acknowledgement of the loyalty we've shown for years. It honestly felt cold and unsympathetic, which was really hard after trusting them with my kids' care for so long. I know vaccine policies differ from office to office, so I wanted to share in case any of you are with the same practice or considering a delayed schedule. Again not so much the decision as much as how awful they treated us when we considered them family. They have a new doctor and she is clearly changing the culture there.

They are professional, kind and truly "get" my kids who have been there since birth (they are now 17 and 14). Their expertise and knowledge is excellent and they have been incredibly helpful even with the 2 am calls and visiting us in the hospital. We had no idea when my kids were born how integral they would become. My daughter has extensive medical issues, and recently now so does my son. It is comforting and an incredible relief to have them not only as our pediatrician but helpful in coordinating care with other specialists (in and out of state) as well as assist with labs, referrals, and consults and see my kids regularly. They are truly with us every step of the way. I am grateful on one particular occasion when my child was in medical distress they helped stabilize her and then we headed to the hospital. On multiple occasions my son was having breathing issues and they took the needed time, even though I knew it threw off their entire schedule. These little humans are not predicable! My daughter is immune compromised (she is fully vaccinated but does not process them properly) and am glad it is required that all patients are vaccinated at Northside Peds, which is critical for her safety. They have Saturday hours and are open really early Monday morning. The facility is very clean. I love that they have a separate sick, well, and newborn waiting area....and no food is allowed in the waiting room. My son has a smell, taste, touch, nut allergy and has always felt safe there. My kids have moved past the stickers that they give out and the bubble machine at check-out, but for MANY years looked forward to that. They will take good care of your kids! I HIGHLY recommend them.....It takes a village to raise a child and we are grateful for these incredible human beings at Northside Pediatrics!

During my time as a patient, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that I was not treated with the level of respect, compassion, and professionalism I believe every patient deserves. My experience with Dr. Barajas left me feeling dismissed rather than heard, particularly when I was trying to communicate my concerns and needs as a patient. What made the situation even more upsetting was my interaction with Falicia, the Canton branch manager. When I spoke with her by phone regarding the doctor's decision to dismiss me as a patient, I felt that instead of helping resolve the situation, the conversation became argumentative. I should not have to argue with a branch manager simply to have my concerns heard and to understand what is happening with my care. I understand that medical practices may have policies regarding patient dismissal. However, patients deserve to be treated respectfully throughout that process. Communication should be professional, calm, and focused on addressing the patient's concerns rather than becoming confrontational. This experience has caused me significant frustration and has left me feeling that my concerns as a patient were not handled appropriately. I hope the practice takes this complaint seriously and reviews how this situation was handled, including both my interactions with Dr. Barajas and my phone conversation with the Canton branch manager. I am sharing my experience because I believe patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and treated with dignity when receiving medical care, even when there is disagreement between a patient and a provider.
