Does anyone have any recommendations on a pediatrician in the Canton, GA that will help her with her Adderall? We would greatly appreciate it. Also, does anyone have a clue how to get her medical records from Dr. Anderson? Again, the phone number is no good.

Upon searching for a new pediatrician, this was the only pediatrician that was accepting new patients and taking our insurance near us. We were at the practice maybe a month because the office is highly unprofessional and unorganized. I first thought that he was listening to our concerns and we were going to turn things around. But he changed quickly like Jekyll and Hyde. My child was put on medications but we had a challenge getting refills after he increased the dosage but failed to write the new RX. We had been coming in almost weekly. He couldn't recall what was previously recommended and often repeating steps we were already taking. After several days of trying to get a new RX, the call was transferred to him and he seemed rather bothered. He repeated himself telling us to start the increase and come back in two weeks for a new RX. I reminded him that he increased his dosage two weeks prior and we were running out. Only after the pharmacy sent the request did he write a new RX, and that was after they refilled the incorrect dosage. I was also upset with a student that was working taking patients back, she had no patience with my child. My kid had tossed his shoes towards the examination room, and one shoe landed at the side of her foot. Next thing I know the nurse is rushing in our room stating another staff reported that my child HIT the student tech. I explained that was a misunderstanding, that it didn't occur. She leaves and returns with the Dr. Before we left the visit I tried to address my concerns with Dr. Anderson and he dismissed me. I also inquired about the flu shot that he was scheduled to receive, and he told me " I don't know anything about that, but probably not. It's Ok he will be back." And walked out. My older child with severe allergies did not get her EpiPen RX for several weeks. We requested an update of labs, and the EpiPen was not called in until those labs returned which was delayed. Most likely the delay was with the office in relaying the results. We still do not have the results in writing to provide the school. When I called to check, I got a return call two days later and the nurse started repeating the results. I knew it was a red flag when he didn't request their medical records. I requested the records myself at the front desk but I'm not confident that the receptionist even sent it. He said, "You are his parent, your his medical record." Do not bring your children here because their well being will not be taken seriously. The new pediatrician we are at now says they have heard the same issues and that records are never received from this office My opinion is probably because they aren't keeping records.
