When they finally got here they used inferior products and the workmanship was not up to par. They had a truck parked in our driveway that leaked oil. I ended up cleaning it myself as they just left it there. They had extra crew come to sit in the truck in order to justify the cost. The crew members that worked were pleasant enough and were nice enough; but spent time fixing a flat tire on one of the vehicles. All and all stay clear of this company, you can do better.

Among 4 bids, we chose them since they had the best pricing and because the estimator Brandy (who was also working with another roofing company) highly recommended who had been a former general contractor that partnered with them. She was an honest, professional, and trustworthy communicator who was able to convince me over the other 3 bid from companies that other friends had referred. When we narrowed down to the final 2 bids with almost the same price, I let Brandy know if they could break the tie and came back with a $500 cut to win the bid (the other company felt their bid was already too low so didn't budge) Appreciating that they were willing to price beat another competitor and we went with them. Picking out the shingle color was last minute (few hours notice) when there was 2 weeks to get it taken care of but were able to change the order once we had time to communicate our color the next morning. They cleaned up all debris from the roof overall. The shingles got dropped off the day before. We didn't hear any complaints from the neighbors who verified all was cleaned up after the job. About 40 nails were left in our driveway post job that we had to clean up. I let the owner know know Saturday and they offered immediately to come by on the next business day Monday to clean up the nails. Since we were nervous about puncturing the neighbor's tires so we went ahead and bought a $30 magnet sweep to take care of it right away. Our deck roof awning got a minor hole and our cat's outdoor enclosure accidentally got hit with roofing that led to our cat escaping and a punctured paw from him climbing out where the structure was compromised--but thankfully the cat returned and paw healed in a day. We understand those accidents can happen so we don't hold that against them. To my knowledge, IPros wasn't aware it happened to give us a heads up as that's all we ask. If it wasn't for the estimator's professionalism, I may have not enjoyed the process along the way as it felt less professional in terms of communiciation. The owner offered to come and fix the roof awning who came the next business day to measure the hole after calling him. About a week later, with many follow-ups, the roof awning got fixed! If you want want a high, professional touch of communication in the process before, during or after, being handheld throughout the process in a timely fashion without any follow-up--it may not be for you. If you don't mind a more rough style and timing of communication in the process of the project, but will absolutely get the job done and is professional worksmanship-wise at a low price, then I'd recommend them.

Some Handy People LLC was the main contractor we used to refurbish and update a 1912 two-story,…read more2620-sqft house in Cosmopolis, WA. They did a great job; I highly recommend their work. The various tasks they completed were not easy; however, they did the work with care and style. They were prompt, listened to instructions, and gave great ideas and recommendations. They were always there when they were supposed to be. Though very sound at its core, the house had sat for a few years after a repossession. Some damage occurred by transients breaking in and more from the wear and tear of some 120 years of large families living under its roof. They fixed the damage. Replaced the kitchen cabinets, added a sixth bedroom and half bath, and removed the living room pine paneling and outdated floral wall coverings. Upon removing the 70's era carpet throughout the house, we discovered old-growth tongue-and-grove fir flooring, worn but very solid. Instead of replacing the rugs, we had Some Handy People LLC refurbish, sand, and stain the wood floors. They came out fantastic. They did several other tasks: installing our new custom kitchen and coffee bar cabinetry along with the sinks, refurbishing a sizeable built-in bookshelf, completing the wall finish on new 1/2 bath, installing ADA grab bars, rapping with wood and staining a ceiling beam between the kitchen and dining room, rapping with wood, and staining a vertical post upstairs, along with the top of the stem wall between the stairs and the hallway, installed both floor and ceiling trim, and did most of the painting in the interior and trim, pressured washed the exterior aluminum siding, and several other 'needs to be done' tasks, to complete the remodel. The house will be an adult family home for six Developmentally Disabled people, along with full-time staff. Our hope was and now realized that the house would feel like a home. Some Handy People LLC was a big part of that hope turning into a reality. Again, I highly recommend their work. I write this recommendation as a person involved in commercial and residential construction for a few decades.

My company hired Thomas to do the drywall in a total gut an remodel. The boys Thomas hired to do…read morethe work were there early and covered a lot of ground quickly. However, they were VERY wasteful and threw away huge chunks of sheetrock that were usable in smaller areas upstairs. I hauled off a truckload to use at another project we are working on hanging ourselves. (Thomas did reimburse me for the waste in the end) There was a lack of communication between them and Thomas. I had to tell them on a few occasions how I wanted something done after I had explained it to Thomasin the final walk through. One of the kids were caught smoking in the house and after I told all it was NOT allowed, they disrespectfully did it again leaving an energy drink can with several butts in it and ashes all over a window sill. We found 1 butt on the floor in the kitchen as well. The texture was uneven in spots. Broken and blown corners and edges all over. Electrical boxes absolutely filled with mud. (Thomas came at the end and cleaned out some of the boxes. He also left a bucket of primer for me to do a better job before painting, which I appreciated) after painting, my Electrician had to figure out why living room and bedroom was tripping breaker when he hooked it up. He found 2 burried boxes completely filled and smoothed over with mud and texture.

The thing we noticed about the owner is that he always did what he said he would do. Kept his word. We used him for four different jobs. I can't say we ever had any issues that he did not resolve immediately. A couple of other local contractors that had given me bids were way over priced. We felt that we got good value for our dollar. We contacted them after we were hit with flooding on December 9th, 2025. Our garage, carport, back…read morehallway, deck, and sheds were all flooded with up to two and a half feet of water. We sent pics and details of the damage. We were told multiple times that we would be contacted with an estimate for the service, and every time we contacted, we were told that they were "in the field" and would call back, but never did. This went on for over a week. My wife is a disabled Army veteran. I have severe chronic back issues, and I'm currently awaiting an appointment with a specialist to determine if I have cancer. ServiceMaster completely turned their backs on us in a time of need and refused to even communicate with us. It was another blow that was absolutely devastating following the massive loss we experienced from the flood. Needless to say, we eventually gave up on the company altogether. The cleanup still continues. I will NEVER recommend their service to anyone.
