There's always great offers on the fruit, Tuesday I bought a big strawberries for £1 and they were just divine! Great place, but it's a long way to walk back to the train station (or the car park) with heavy purchases.. I don't think home delivery is available.

Anyway the stock is plentiful but you do have to watch what you buy as they don't bother with sell buy dates. So we sometimes find things don't last but if like me you like soil on your carrots and don't mind a few bent ones it can be good value.

DIOLCH AM SIOPA HEFO ALDI. SPEND A LITTLE - LIVE A LOT (ALDI UK). Aldi encourages people to bring their own shopping bags instead of using plastic bags. Bought milk, mineral water, wheat beer, coffee (no, not instant ;-)), and more. It made a huge difference to my shopping in Machynlleth moneywise. I also got fresh fruit here! Since life in Wales is expensive one has to go here unfortunately really.
