Bigger stores often don't stock C&R firearms, or won't let you inspect them to your satisfaction, or sometimes are even rude in their customer service, but by far, my experience at Horse Shoe Firearms has been extremely pleasant and has led me to purchase some great finds! The resident collector and salesman at the store is very knowledgeable and we often compare our recent acquisitions. One of my favorite past-times is coming in and having an academic discussion about WW2 Arisaka Bolt Action rifles with Colt here at the store, and it's nice to actually see and hold different examples he has come across available in the store. Their store is small, but they have a vast array of firearms and ammunition from modern to antique. If they don't have it, they can definitely get it for you, and their customer service in selecting products is second-to-none. Overall, I highly recommend Horse Shoe Firearms, LLC, and it is well worth checking out their selection!

They do have an ample supply of ammunition. This nice lady was very knowledgeable and nice. I did have a few select questions about open carry laws in South Carolina. I was told that if I got my C.W.P. I could put a pistol in a holster and legally walk down Main Street! Kind of reminds me of the Gunsmoke western tv series and that of being in old Dodge City! Truthfully; this doesn't appeal to me at all! I do think it's a good idea to own a firearm; but wearing it in a holster in public view is a little much I think! I'm now a senior citizen and I've never seen anyone open/carry not even one time! This store also has a nice selection of large hunting knives: for what common everyday use escapes me! Perhaps people just like to collect them. I haven't the faintest idea! Anyways; this is a very nice little shop and a very nice intelligent lady runs it with her husband. I do own a shotgun but I've never seriously considered a handgun. This is still the United States of America; and you do still have the right to bear arms if you so desire! Bought a new highly polished blue SA-35 Springfield Armory online back on 4/4 and put in the notes…read moreto check the firearm for any issues before sending to my FFL. Received an email from Matthew P. right after placing my order notifying me of the milling defects on the frame on the best one they had in stock (with pictures attached in an email from him), and wanted to know how I'd like to proceed. I notified Springfield Armory about the issue and the firearm in question was sent back to S.A. (before heading my way). Matthew spoke with my wife and took care of the defective SA-35 being sent to Springfield Armory immediately. I called S.A. every week they had it for updates, and they decided to replace the SA-35 in question and send it back to Grady's and then to my FFL. Once received at Grady's, Matthew made a point to get my SA-35 from the loading dock the day it arrived at Grady's, looked it over for any issues, and immediately sent it to my FFL next day air after giving it a thumbs up. Matthew P. went above and beyond in customer service to ensure this customer was accommodated (being a disabled veteran on a limited income). I can't say thank you enough to Matthew P. for all he did to have a happy customer!
