Surprisingly, everything went so smoothly and I couldn't ask for two better ladies to have shared this journey with. Enisa the Patient Coordinator is very understanding, professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. I value her great communication and efficiency with appointments and EEG scheduling. It was always a pleasure to see her infectious smile everyday I entered the office. Smailee the MERT Tech is extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to and she has the patience of a saint. Even when my son wasn't on his best behavior she was able to complete the sessions. I loved how she provided toys and entertainment for his comfort and she calmly worked at his pace. She arrived to work jolly, on time and she was unbothered by the mess of popcorn and snacks he threw on the floor. When he cried she was so tender and provided much consolation and it meant so much. My son has made great progress since getting MERT therapy. He's much more present and affectionate. His temper, eye contact and sleep has improved tremendously. I recommend this place to anyone because they're great and the girls here will definitely make you feel at home.

I left a review for this specific location on their other (older?) location's page because this…read morenewer businesses location wasn't on the map yet. But now that the info is submitted and will hopefully be added, I will be inserting the same review here and leaving my older one up so people can find it here. With that being said, this place is pretty amazing! Seriously, from top to bottom, I have been coming to this location for a little over a month and have had no complaints about anything or anyone here. To start, you are required to have a temperature check before you even walk into the office. They take this VERY seriously here, and for good reason given the times we are in with Covid-19 impacting the world. Any temp, even a tiny bit, above their allowed protocol temp and I promise you will be turned right around and not let in. It happened to me on my very first visit, even with a copy of a recent negative Covid Result in my hands, so don't even try it! They really want everyone inside to be safe. The front staff is SO kind. They really do try their best to make sure you get your appointments and book you ahead of time to ensure you have time slots that work with your schedule. The last thing they try to do is inconvenience you, which I really appreciate. They work with you. They call you a day before your appointment to remind you to come in, and happily greet you every time you come in. Now to the best part of this place: the physical therapists. I go twice a week and alternate between two physical therapists. For privacy reasons I won't mention their names, but I can tell you just from simply observing most of the therapists with their patients, they're all great and I have yet to see a patient or anyone outright complain or disagree with the way they help people. My physical therapists are incredible. They really do, and always have given, their best effort to help me out. They will try a multitude of different exercises or methods to hopefully get you into a better place than when you first walked in for the initial evaluation. I would HIGHLY recommend coming to this place for physical and occupational therapy!!

At a time when almost all therapists refused to see patients in-person during the early months of the pandemic, Kristen was so accommodating to provide both in-person and virtual sessions, whichever worked better for our family any time our daughter needed therapy. Kristen is extremely patient with the kids and is a great listener. She always came up with bright ideas to address any concerns we had with our defiant child, and always made sure to follow up with us to assure we were making progress with regards to the treatment for that concern. In total we had almost 40 sessions over a 20-month period, and we are more than happy for every minute and every penny we spent on the therapy sessions! I definitely recommend Kristen Estrella and the Lukin team to anyone in the Ridgewood/Bergen County area who is in need of a fantastic therapist for their child!
