Hello, Got up this morning and realized my garage door spring on top of garage was broken called D&L garage door. Talked with Marisa (sorry on the spelling) anyways they called me back within a half hour and Cameron was here within the hour and 45 minutes later my garage door was working and much better than before, Cameron was Epic very polite and professional, will always go back to D&L Garage doors for any repairs! D&L Garage Door opener repair company is a mighty fine company to call if you have a busted opener, chain, belt, door and ect. My MasterLift done konked out. I got an appointment quickly (1 week) . Needed to replace the chain drive (1999) motor. An inspection was also done on the springs. D&L had everything needed at hand and the work was done in 2 hours. Unfortunately I can't remember his name. He left no trace of being in our garage other than everything looked brand spanking new and the opener is so very quiet. I will definitely be calling D&L Garage repair in about 20 yrs to do it all over again, in the meantime call for maintenance inspections. They are Professional, Quick, Prompt, and Awesome. P.S. I bought a brand new garage door opener from D and L in February ($1000) By June I was having problems with it, and could not get into my garage. I had to fight not to pay the $89 service call fee. The same problem arose in July. Again, they came out to fix it, told me "This time we will waive the $89 service charge fee". I was also told the unit may be a lemon but if they had to come out and fix it again they were going to charge me the $89 service call fee. The unit they sold me is not even four months old yet they want me to pay for their people to come out and fix it??? Not only will I never call them again to fix the unit I have, but I hope no one calls them! read more

I had a bad experience with this company. While I was out of town my 76 year old month we couldn't get my garage door shut. She didn't realize something was blocking the sensor. So she insanely called this company for an emergency visit - which was $200. They came up, literally moved something in front of the sensor and clicked the button. Not feeling badly about the insane $200 charge for what amounted to 40 mins of travel time to and from my house, they went on to UPSELL my mom, who clearly didn't know what the heck was going on and sold her an additional Opener (we already had 2) for an additional $100. When I came home she told me all of this and it took me literally threatening them with a lawsuit to refund the clicker... after 6 calls to the company they finally relented. I personally think the $200 should be partially refunded as well seeing as though they literally did nothing but they would not bend on that. 100% would not recommend. read more

D&L responded to our service call the same afternoon we placed the call to their service desk. When it was determined we needed a new spring and door, they coordinated the install for us and arrived when they said they would. They didn't try and up sell us a new opener because we didn't need it. Installed quickly and everything is working smoothly. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks. read more

I had a tech come to repair my garage door and 3 minutes into it told me it needed to be replaced and I had to pay the $90 service fee just for him to come out. I had another company come out for a free estimate and was able to fix it on the spot. I asked for a quote for a new door as we will eventually have to replace it and the bid came in $500 less for all the same parts and services. There are companies that give free bids. Go to them first and don't get ripped off like I did!! read more

called D& L to fix my garage door (broken spring). At the time I was told that there would be an $89 service call charge that would be applied to the repair. Technician arrived and said they didn't service my type of door system. but he could build me a spring system quoted me $1100.00. I said no prior repairs had been $250 and sent him on his way after paying $89. I received a call from there office 30 minutes latter advising me they could do it for $595. I had reached out to another company and gotten a quote $359 and they came a fixed the door for $359 no service charge. i would not recommend using D& L the service charge and fluctuating costs are questionable business practices. I saved $750 not using D&L. read more

Garage door quit, locking my car in the garage. I called D&L and they came to the house within an hour. Got the door open so I could get my car out. It was clear that I needed a new door. Technician Sahara called the next day at 7:30 am advising that he would at my house at 8:00 am to install the new door. Sahara showed up at 8 and was finished before lunch. He worked very quickly and put up with me watching and asking stupid questions. I am very happy with the new door and their service. read more

My keypad stopped working to close the garage. They came out and told me that I needed to either replace the unit, or replace the circuit board (might have terminology wrong), both of which would cost hundreds of dollars. I didn't think that sounded right, so I didn't have them fix it. I called overhead door and they came out and extended the antenna for just an $85 service fee. Too bad I had already paid a $90 service fee to D & L, but still saved me money! read more

The service was great all around. The technician was very friendly and quick. The problem was pricing. I had an appointment with a competing company the next day but cancelled because D&L came quicker, which was nice. That company charged $300 less. $470 compared to $170 for the same thing. It was obviously my fault but I don't want other people to have the same issue. Again, service was great, but $300 is a huge difference. read more

Service was professional and the spring replacement was quick. Took about 30-45 min for the repair. Parts for this repair are about $80-100. I was charged a service call of $89 for a scheduled service - not emergency. $179 per spring = total of $358!!! Then $129 for the labor that took about 30-45min. Total bill including tax for the 30-45min repair = 516.22!! Next time I'll be fixing these myself. With a little research it's not a difficult job. I thought I'd save some time by having them do it expecting about $250 or so. Then I called to speak with the service manager about the bill - that was over a week ago - no response... shocker. read more

My garage door opener stopped working Friday Night. I called early Saturday am, and was told they could have someone over between 3-7 pm. The repairman arrived at 6:50 pm. I showed him the problem, and pointed out the pile of fine shavings under the opener, and that the opener was in the partially closed position. Using the adjustment nob on the opener, (using my ladder and having me operate the opener) he adjusted the door so it would open and close. I questioned him about what caused the system to strip, he said "its working now". Exactly 8 minutes after arriving, I went to get my check book. I was floored when he told me the bill was $199.28. He never addressed what the real issue was, and I am out almost $200, and will have to have some one else really fix the problem. What a waste of my afternoon, waiting for them! read more

Took over a week to get an appointment. Then it was an appointment window of two hour. This organization said they would call 20 minutes before and called when they were already there. Very expensive for service provided. Would not recommend for future issues. read more
